Good, tough win. Credit to the Roosters, they are a well drilled team. I was watching Fox, and boy was the commentary one sided.

Some dubious ref calls too, and it was noticeable how the ref suddenly put away the set restarts for the Roosters to hold us down or have hands on the ball. That last penalty for the RCG high tackle was a disgrace.

Oh and the video ref "Chids" obviously doesn't know rugby league after ruling that Papa obstructed the defenders. Decoy runners must run through the line, which Papa did, but he was called out for being ahead of the ball???

That's what a decoy runner does you idiot!

On Marata, he committed the sin of tackling a falling Tedesco. With the new crackdown he will get several weeks as it will be labelled as a shoulder charge.

Bashed them up the middle. 5 tries to 3 (one of theirs was a gift) and Sivo’s no try was laughable. Love this brand of no nonsense footy. Might not be as easy on the eye but it’s physical and confronting. Assuming Marata comes back into the pack rotation shortly, teams are going to hate playing us.

what the NRL implemented as of 5pm yesterday. Same as yesterday, players not allowed out in the community, temp testing before training and games.

bubble locked down, that’s why roosters pulled all their players from nsw cup and didn’t allow them to play today, as then they’d be out of the bubble, eels chose to let most of ours play

Yeah 12pm monday as of right now, my worry is if the nrl bubble will have to continue another week with next round being magic weekend in bris vegas.

not sure Smith will be back. If he isn’t just put rankin in the halves. And if reed isn’t back put lussick at hooker ( rather Roache but doubt he will be promoted).
Need to put “specialists” in the positions
And have Hayze on the bench.

I think Lussick will come in for Mahoney (if required) but I suspect Rankin would only come in if Moses was missing. Drown plays a very specific role, and it could be filled by a back rower with a kicking game. It needs to be a strong defender. Our left side has become our weak defensive side since Moses moved there (Ikuvalu two attacking tries tonight). Plenty of teams have two weak sides in defence, and it's one of our strengths that we don't.
