MOLTZEN TO PLAY HALF-BACK AGAINST EELS
Tuesday, 23 March 2010
Wests Tigers Coach Tim Sheens has moved Tim Moltzen to half-back for the round three blockbuster against the Parramatta Eels at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday night, March 26.
Moltzen will partner Benji Marshall in the halves after Robert Lui was ruled out for between four to six weeks yesterday with an ankle injury.
Former Cronulla utility Mitch Brown will make his club debut for Wests Tigers after being named at full-back. Beau Ryan returns to the wing after missing the round two loss to the Sydney Roosters through suspension.
Bryce Gibbs returns to the front-row after missing the Roosters game with a hamstring injury. Todd Payten will play his first NRL match this season after overcoming a calf injury.
Liam Fulton will not play against Parramatta as he is still feeling the effects of a late hit from the round one win over Manly. Fulton has experienced complications from a popped rib cartilage and spent last night in hospital.
Sheens has named a six man bench for the game.
