Yes but the original hate probably started in 93.
Bulldogs minor premiers were pounded out of contention by the mighty Broncos in the major semi when Alan Caan scored that glorious try.
Then there's the chickens.
Put them out with a thrashing in 98.
Then bashed them into submission in 00.

Bronco-night football hasn't helped either - the club getting such a sweetheart deal from the NRL with games on almost 2/3s of the year, as opposed to Canberra or some Sydney clubs who would struggle to have half of their games on TV.

Of course, some Brisbane fans don't like so many games being played on Friday night because they are often so hard to get to - as opposed to Sunday afternoon, which are always so good to attend.

Isn't like going to the game is any better on Friday and that time-slot is a Rugby League graveyard.

Can say the same about Sunday but at least going to the game is far more appetizing.

The perfect mixture of origin and an enormous amount of success since we were introduced into the comp makes us a very appealing target for anyone south of the border.

Then you have the BRL fanboys and those that are born and bred in brisbane and didn't want to back the broncos when they were bought in, their my favourites.

The last few years have been a great time to hate the broncos, would have been agonisng for them from 1992 until 2010. They got alot of pent up hate to vent.
