Rebels win control of Parramatta

THE rebel ticket vying for control for Parramatta football club has today won its battle for the board.
Four of the rebel candidates won seats on the seven man board handing them control of the football club.

Club greats Brett Kenny, Eric growth and ray price were the 3 highest polling candidates, with local property developer john Chidiac filling the forth and most crucial decision.

In a major shock long standing Eels chairman Alan Overton was voted off the board was voted off the board after 22 years service.

The only 3 directors to be re elected were Ron Hilditch, Geoff Gerard and Dr Malcolm Johnson.

I will say i am shocked that Jurd and Ovo didn't hold their seats and was hoping for 3P to get 4 on but thought only 3 was possible.

All I can say is WOW, very surprised Ovo and Jurd didn't hold there spots now to see if the new members follow up on the promises, or if it was just pie in the sky stuff.
Congrats to the new members and to Alan thankyou for being such a loyal Servant of the club over many years, and being so approachable to the supporters.
