What do you think about Tim Browne from the dogs? He is off contract this year and we certainly need more pace, mobility and clout as plodders need to be moved out.

There is still the massive dif between nyc and nrl .
no doubt, but he has the instincts and the skill

Size is an issue as it always with these kids, but he looks like a decent back up option in a few years time if Moses or Brooks gets injured etc

Off Contract 2014: Sitaleki Akauola, Braith Anasta, Michael Bullock, Jarred Farlow, Asipeli Fine, Matthew Lodge, Cory Paterson, Ava Seumanufagai, Bodene Thompson, Andrew Vela

SOURCE: http://www.nospam9/nrl/rugby-league/player-movements/

Assuming Vela, Bullock, Farlow & Fine will be resigned by the NSW side on second-tier contracts that leaves us with Akauola, Anasta, Lodge, Paterson, Seumanufagai & Thompson in the first grade squad.

I'd resign: Akauola (2 Years)
Paterson (1 Year)
Seumanufagai (2 Years)
Thompson (2 Years)

In terms of recruitment, all we need is one or 2 depth signings in both the backs & the forwards.

BACKS:

Viable options are Corey Thompson & Beau Champion. Both are looking for other opportunities, especially Champion, who would come very cheap.

FORWARDS:

If Fulton retires we should look for a big signing in this department. But assuming he won't, we only need a fringe back/front rower.

Viable options for me Tim Browne & Mark Minichiello. Minichiello is criminally underrated, and for all his in competencies, is actually strong in the areas which our backrow lack - Decoy running & merciless defence.

Obviously they are poor choices, especially Champion but we cannot expect to net much on our budget at this stage of the season.

Name some players we could sign then f**kwhit.

Your approach to a rational opinion is amazing.
You invent the dumbest shit threads, just to see your name in lights on the internet . . . then when someone doesn't agree with your imbecile ideas, you swear at them.

I'm now convinced that you are genuinely geniused, and so will not add to your problems by laughing at you. I was always taught to show compassion to those less fortunate.
I know you like to see your name on the computer screen, but try and remember that it is not TV. Your monitor looks like a TV set, but you don't become a star on the internet just because you make up childish threads about players names.
For the next month or so, why not try keeping your opinions to yourself and let the grown-ups enjoy the computer ?
You have already been laughed off the WT page . . . . save yourself further shame and stop making up threads for the sake of it.

Herein lies your problem.

You name some players and admit they aren't very good (rightly) and even state that there's not much as far as quality backrowers are concerned available, but at the same time are dissatisfied with the club's inactivity on the player market to sign players to fill these positions.

There's no point in signing bog average back rowers, when we already have depth quality back rowers at the club in spades.

I apologise if this is old news but Zero Tackle is reporting that we have secured Dallas Graham with a 2 year contract. I don't know much about this guy. Thoughts ?

Are Daniel Harrison and Tom Symonds still off contract?

They would be handy pick up's

We need to find a centre for next and preferably one who could back up as a good fullback because I have concerns Teddy will have ongoing knee probs.

Austin to me slots straight into right centre.

I would be very happy to see Austin in the centres.

Next year:

1. Tedesco
2. Nofo
3. Austin
4. Simona
5. Richards
6. Moses

Unless Lawrence can learn to catch and pass I think he needs to re-invent himself as a back rower.
