As a club,we are rapping ourselves getting 10000 members. Not knocking the effort involved but doesn't that put us about 2k behind GWS Giants. Wait till they get Buddy Franklin.

Question. What is Bruno actually doing? Is he still with us or on holiday? He said on March 15 that ASADA not the main issue but we needed restructuring.

And with respect to the memberships, to be fair you have to know whether you're comparing apples with apple's, my example is Queensland reds, pushing for 40K, but their membership package is $60, our packages are a much broader price spectrum, 40K sounds great but what's the actual revenue returned to club through memberships?

Fair response Birdie. In general , I am with you , just frustrated. There are plenty of hard workers at the Sharks, committed players and fans. We all deserve a good outcome. Most dislike him , but I think Phil Gould on the right path with the Panthers. Recognised they needed an overhaul and positioned themselves for the long term. Seem to play an attacking style and can now bid for virtually all players coming off contract. Even with Luke, Flash and Jennings they were going nowhere. They may fail gut they have a plan. I think they may succeed. They took Peach for starters. For years we have had crap outside backs and yet nothing is done. We seem to have no direction from the top or anywhere. We play a grinding style but not as well as others like Manly. We have zero flair. No one but forum diehards would care if we relocated or folded. We don't have an identity/brand. Under Lang we were exciting generally.

I share your frustrations, its been farked, I think we've played a pretty good hand all things considered

Installing Cleary as coach was the best move panthers made, has a sharp eye for talent, brings them through and has a tremendous ability to get the team to play as though they have 0 pressure on them, makes for some attractive footy

If we signed Simona and Wighton I'd definitely be happy and think that is a step in the right direction

My concern is nurturing juniors whether that be local or identifying good talent early and bringing them to the club, our NYC went within a game of the GF a couple of years ago, with attacking footy that was a throw back to the lang days and not one player has filtered through permanently to the first grade side! Keeping in mind that side matched it with the likes of a big, red hot dogs and warriors outfits. Now they are stone motherless last! Not good!

Not sure who is scouting talent for us but they should be monitoring the Qld cup (including junior systems that feed to) more closely as well as renoun nursuries such as Penrith area and all divisions of the Canberra system

Just a thought and I apologise if this bloke has already been mentioned but what about having a go for Peta Hiku from Manly. Has been very good in the 1 whilst Stewart was injured.

Benji again has not signed with the Tigers do we have enough money to lure him across plenty of his mates there, i would be happy with Benji at 5/8, with Carney playing F/B.

Maybe why they asked for a delay in annoucement.

Maybe the tigers have just said we cannot let the sharks take any more players, and we will sell off a prop we are not using a great deal and that will free up the money we need to keep him.

Briscoe won't be coming to the NRL next year. Flanno said he had a few things going on back home and won't be leaving anytime soon. Not for 2014, at least.
