The 400k differential would also bleed our cap and potentially stop a few other moves we have. Does anyone see a TC Benji combo working in the halves? I don't.

If we want to throw big money at a creative halfback I would take Parra up on the offer to sign Sandow. Benji is too much like TC in the same position.

hattered Wests Tigers superstar Benji Marshall last night criticised the club's management over the departures of Beau Ryan and Chris Heighington to the Cronulla Sharks in recent days.

"The playing group is just as confused as the fans and the sponsors," Marshall said on Channel 9's Footy Show.

"They are two of my best mates. When they told me I cried for a little bit. When they're your best mates, it's very hard to cop.

What's sandow going to bring to the table ?

Marshall is a freak of a player, plenty of speed and skill, but above all he will attract sponsors.

Maybe sandow will get big Ben pies to come aboard but that's about it.

It's quite obvious with those comments on the footy show that Benji is no longer happy at the Tigers & needs good mates in his team to play his best footy.

If we were to get Benji for about $500 to $600k, he would be worth it.

Sandow I don't know. Yes for his X factor and that massive boot. No for his tendency to disappear on games the last two years at parra. Granted he hasn't had much around him and it would have been frustrating for a guy who has run the show at a team full of running.

I think he would probably work with carney, but he used to be a Souths player and that counts against him for me.

Also he isn't fat these days. Showed him on 9 the other week looking fit and ripped. Maybe he plays better with a gut

Marshall is down on form because he's unhappy. If mates make him happy, then he finds a team with mates and his form will return. No team in their right mind would knock him back.

To be honest, with the left hand / right side attack formations these days, it doesn't matter whether you wear 6 or 7. Carney can play right (in 7), Marshall left (wearing 6 - he needs the confidence boost more) - ALL GOOD.

As hard as it is to say goodbye to Bukuya, Chad and Peachey (and probably Taufua), it MUST free up cap space!

Hodgkinson and Lafai would be an acceptable second...
