Recurring Themes in Dreams

Anyone ever experience recurring themes in their dreams?

I seem to have 3 themes that I contuinually experience in my dreams over the years
They are -
car crashes
my teeth falling out
mice/rats

I had the mouse/rat one again last night. It was my usual warped dream, dreamed I was staying at a friends place but it was haunted and this invisible ghost terrorised me all night long as I tried to sleep.
Anyway, in the morning I was suppossed to leave but my pet mice/rats were not in their cage and no matter how many times I put them back in the cage, they keep escaping and then dream always ends up with me getting really stressed and frantically putting them back in the cages as more and more keep escaping.

what does this mean??????????????

I like dream interrpretation .. my take on it would be that the invisible ghost thing is that there is someone or something (probably from your past, hence appearing as a ghost) that is hassleing you or niggling at you. As it is invisible you may not have realised its such an issue yet. Dreams are our subconcious letting us know things (or just doing crazy messed up stuff)

The mice and rats escaping ... mice and rats generally symbolise deciet and insincerity. Rats more with like guilt and doubt about someone. I think that them escaping from you is symbolising that you need to let the people in your life like that go, you keep trying to catch them and keep them in your life but you really need to just let them go.

And recurring dreams is like your subconcious being impatient, u know? Like going, get this dealt with now.

Teeth falling out can be seen as, like, forwarning against your health. Or it can be more symbolic, like if you've been bitching or sad bad words against someone, and its come back to haunt you, it can be your subconcious projecting.

Car crashes .... cars in dreams usually symbolise how your 'drive' and ambition in live and how smoothly you think your life is going. So if your feeling out of control, it makes sense I guess. Or maybe you are worried about what path your life is on?

I dream about significant things that happened in my life, mainly the stuff that changed the course of my life in some way. My dreams are kinda boring like that I guess. Sometimes I dream about suff thats going to happen in the future that I'm certain about

OK, I don't have these dreams anymore, but after my grandfather died I had many dreams aboput him. He would appear in person, but in my dream I knew he was dead and this was his "ghost". I would cry and we would hug and these dreams would always make me feel good.
No other family memeber in my dream could ever see him. I also had dreams where the phone would ring and the line would be all crackly and static but somehow I knew it was my grandfather trying to reach me.
These dreams were never scary, I always woke up feeling good. And then just as frequently as I had these dreams, they stopped and I haven't had one in a few years.
The weirdest part is when I dreamt Isaw him and other ppl in his house and he told me they were "Bad spirirts" and to avoid them.
He also gave me a date once, which I never bothered looking into but I wonder if that had some significance to me???????

ok stuff like that is really interesting because, well there is no way of knowing if it actually is your grandfathers spirit coming to give you a message. But its fun to dream and imagine that stuff!! I believe in spirts and things so I pay attention to dreams like that. My grandfather died when I was younger too and stuff like that happened to me a bit. I think just to let us know that they are ok, and we will be ok. I think the dreams stop when they feel like we are ok without them you know? If he was warning you against bad spirits ... he is probably looking out for you still. Was he pointing at anyone in particular? If so, maybe just keep an eye on them, you know. Or he may have just been saying watch out for bad spirits, like, if you get a bad vibe from someone, just remember to stay away. Trust yourself.

i have this dream at least once a fortnight, where by i am casually walking around talking to this person, its like we have known each other for ever but ive never seen her face in my dreams, the conversation changes and keeps up to date with whats been going on in my life, but the ending is always the same, left with this silhouette outline of her

raidey - apart from your obvious infactuation with me, haha, i think it could mean that maybe you have feelings for someone in your life that you are yet to admit to yourself? or feelings for someone you are repressing. Or ... if u are into spiritual stuff ... it could be said that she is like a guide and is there to chat to and stuff, does she ever give u advice on things?
