Well done Jack, Curtis & everyone else that have been involved with the show since inception. I wouldn’t miss an episode being a Red V tragic, 200 not out is a great achievement.

Thanks for the updates Jack. Good solo job by you for Episode 202. Agree with your comment that Shane Flanagan has only been at the club officially for a month come Dec 1st so we need to continue to be patient and have trust in what he will bring to the club going forward.

We chat all the fallout from the attempted signings of AFB and Tom Dearden. Is there any positives from it? Plus is Junior Amone done for the 2024 after the reported ruling by the NRL? Also CEO and coach update and we tackle your fans corner questions.

The game where Nightingale showed his class for me was that Anzac Day match where we pulled it from the fire in the last seconds (maybe 2022/3?). Creagh goes over late to win the game but Nighty makes a huge break to set us up for the try before that, and in the lead up to Creagh's try Nighty is ball playing in the middle of the field. Legend!

Notice in that snippet from the CEO suddenly the talk is about recruitment for 2025 and 2026. That recruitment was never going to be a “12 month fix”.

I mean just like that, on the back of miserably falling short on numerous signings we now just push it all back an extra year.

I hate the situation we are in but I detest the way the paying supporter base are just treated like brainless morons in the rhetoric of club management.

Of course it’s a long term fix but the current failings mean it just gets pushed further and further back with people like Webb changing the talk to protect themselves that bit longer.

2025 and 2026? Wow. As a sponsor how would that sit with you basically being told don't expect much for the next 2 years because we are $hite at recruitment and hope in those 2 years these failing which we had over the past 10 years will all of a sudden disappear and players will run to join us.

If the Saints are expecting 2 crappy years of rebuild, then memberships should be heavily reduced just like the performance of the team is expected to be. Do they not have any sympathy for their members? What a joke.
