I just joined up and listened for the first time and couldn’t believe your beliefs that Sloan’s cut out pass was the way to go. I couldn’t listen any longer.
4 on 2. Draw and pass = 2 points. Not that we deserved it but you have to be kidding.

I agree with the Red V pod. Moses usually just hits it up rather than pass, why not this time? He was literally a few meters away and for some reason does a flick pass close to the line. If he goes hard at the line he scores. Draw and pass would have been the better option of course but with Moses size, I can see why Sloan went the cut out. The commentators even said that he would have scored if he held on to the ball as he ended up over the line anyway. Moses butchered it as he should have carried out the plan instead decided to change it last minute and Sloan cops the blame.

Sloan had to draw and pass, cut out was the wrong way to go IMO. Work it through the hands and we score.
Cannot believe we bombed that try.

Only one team in the NRL can bomb that try and yes it is the Saints. As per Gould's comments "He coaches the footy out of the players hence why they let him go".
