Of course, no argument there. The problem is by making it known right now he is shooting himself in the foot so 'clever' more than likely is really 'opportunistic' at best . . . if he's telling the truth

So, for the rest of the games this year any quickstepping player such as Pearce, Adam Reynolds, Maloney, Segeyaro, etc on the 5th tackle has to do is make a beeline for one of the referees and kick the ball at him, hard enough so if it misses it finds touch.

If he had been really clever Josh would have apologised to the ref for putting him in such an unenviable position, something Ennis/Smith would have instinctively done. If I was the referee the next 10 times I officiated Reynolds if he even looked at me I'd find a penalty against him . . . just because he 'used' me

I can't complain, the more f**kups in the finals the better, everyone here knows I consider there is too much emphasis on a small number of games deciding which is the best team of the year. That's not completely right, I'd be happy with the Roosters being the best in the Shield and 'whoever' the best in the Cup. Give them equal billing and that would do me.

Apparently people think Messenger would be of the same opinion as I, why else wouldn't the Dally M's finish after the Cup is decided if players are only 'coasting' in the Shield. Supposed to be the best players/coaches of the whole year

Doesn't affect me much anyway, I'm too old to follow just one team, now that the Roosters have proven to be the best in the JJ Giltinan Shield doesn't mean I'm not fascinated in the vaudeville Todd Greenberg Cup . . . I've still got 3 teams running

How about if I make it foolproof . . . any Rugby League at all is better than any other sport. Because I want the JJ Giltinan Shield to be the most highly, equally at least, regarded doesn't mean I won't watch the Todd Greenberg Cup.

Do what I do, when scrolling through threads and I come across a post of yours, as well as a few others I needn't mention I skip over without reading. You might consider my posts repetitious but I do it for the probably misguided reason that someone may take notice eventually. Most of my stuff is tongue-in-cheek that probably goes over your head and no more repetitious than your constant baying over it.

You can ignore the portion of my posts that aren't repetitious or you can ignore them all, POPEYE is in caps so you can't be mistaken, don't go looking for what I write and you'll be able to sleep easier. I found early on what you write is mostly trite, so as I say do what I do and don't follow me around like a lost puppy.
