No idea how most people see them but I like smartarse players who are driven by ego and as long as the
dedication on the field is there I don't give a f**k what they get up to off the field. The article on Sandor Earl
in the SMH is a reminder that every player has a story and he is a character that the game needs.

Ferguson, Gagai, Carney, Myles to name a few are larrikans, not to be confused with shitheads like Matai who
thrive on cheap shots, and easily have their talents dismissed. I enjoy watching Earl and Ferguson compete for
attention and if they make a concerted effort will be fatal to the opposition. The real dipshits are the people who
only praise these blokes depending on who they play for.

I think the unusually big headed tall midget gives cheap shots (constant elbows, forearms to the head/across faces, sly knees in tackles) constantly through the match. He is an under rated grub & over rated player IMO, honestly can't stand him.

Opinions are wonderful things that prevent anyone on the planet claiming they are perfect. Myles is the best
2nd rower in the game imo . . . great to live in a democracy

Popeye.

Strengths: Knows how to use the caps lock key.
Weaknesses: wishes he was a columnist but will never be anything than a sad little man with cliched opinions and a weird obsession for Cameron Smith and piss.
X Factor: Olive Oyl.

You've absentmindedly posted in the wrong thread but I appreciate the bump nevertheless. Not sure if I'd like
you to be more challenging or not . . . equivalent to an Independant you may be but still a vehicle to garnish me votes

Sorry 'soc' but it looks like you'll lose Jennings after all, as to the reason why is anyone's guess.
The 'Shoe' might have had something to do with it if he is continuing to put his value on players
but if that's not the case Jabba will have more in the bank if any of the new signings need updating to keep.

Pearl has said Prince should be given autonomy as all halfbacks should, as he did at the Titans,
but that's not Scott's problem. All this crap about him having the worst win/lose stats is not realistic,
any number of reasons can be attributed. Prince's main problem is his body won't allow him to replicate
the necessary form every game.

There has been smoke around Jennings for the best part of a year, yet still no fire. More anti Gould bullshit from the Telegraph. Although to be honest I couldnt give a shit either way, if he stays great, if he goes then dont let the door hit you in arse on the way out. I will be pissed if we loose George & Robert though. Bring on the season already so the papers can have something with substance to report on.

Smoke is a bigger killer than fire I agree but even Sinfield would be of no use to a team if he was to cause anxiety. Jabba is doing everyone a favour imo.

Only just read Richard Hinds' article in the SMH on Origin eligibility and it's very well done indeed, certainly
puts the face on facetious. He could have taken it a step further by imagining all the Pacific Islander children
telling their parents if they emigrate it has to be Q or nothing.

If Melbourne keep going the way they are it's not difficult to imagine juniors won't be allowed to play for clubs
unless they started younger than 13. Come to think of it, that would kill the Dogs and imagine all the parents
forced to live in beautiful Manly by their children . . . not hard to take, but house prices would be sky high and
they might have to extend the boundaries.

The mind boggles. How many 13 year olds would choose land locked Penrith over Cronulla, concrete jungle
Souths over Gold Coast or ball feezing Canberra over Newcastle. Pity that people born later than circa 1960
will never appreciate what Qld's had to bear all those years seeing their boys sit idle because they played 1st
grade in Sydney and had to watch Qld get flogged mercilessly.

"Concrete jungle Souths?"

I know the beaches at Coogee and Maroubra are more crowded than those on the GC (mostly) and the eight A grade golf courses in the area can get competitive tee times but concrete jungle? Hoping this was a bit of poetic license...

Yes, bit rash, but I lived in Hugo St Redfern near the railway for a short while and that is far from glamorous.
Should have used Parramatta where I also lived as an example instead you think. Anyway, if that's all you
find annoying you clearly understand my meaning

Acquiring the spoon has the same relativity as winning the pissant cup when you analyse it, the holder of
either is one of the two most talked about the following year. No wonder, when so many of the competitors
can play up to shit and still get a shot at the mug, that running last is emphasised. Pity that Australia has
too small a population to make money from showcasing only the top performers.
