lol. He was held. No try.

The bigger howler was when the ball hit the corner post before it was thrown back in for that last panthers try. Everyone missed that completely.

Too busy watching Zelezniak's feet.

Ref signalled double movement....pointed to his elbow and motioned it touching the ground from memeory

Even if he called ''held''.....even in slo mo its a way premature call....dead set major f**k up

12 point turnaround in a 1 point game

The corner post hasn't been classified as being out of touch for a few years now, the ball & players can crash over it all they like for tries now, as long as no part part of the ball or player touches the grass past the start of the line.

Nvm, double checked, and you are correct, if the ball itself without being on contact with a player touches the corner posts, it is out.

"If the ball is not in possession of a player and it makes contact with the corner post (eg from a kick) the ball will be deemed to be touch-in-goal."

Incorrect.

Corner post is still in play for the ball.

He was called held. Who cares if he didn't put his arm on the ground. The referee had called held and I'm okay with that.

Balls dead if it touches the corner post.

Learn the rules.

The ball is touch in-goal when it touches the corner
post, in-goal line, or any object on or outside the
touch in-goal line, however, if a player whilst in
possession touches the corner post it will not be
deemed as touch-in goal.

Fair enough, I thought they changed that too when they changed the touching the corner post rule.

Also I'm almost certain the only reason they were in that position was from SBW punching the ball out... Should've been a Penrith penalty... Karma
