The corner post hasn't been classified as being out of touch for a few years now, the ball & players can crash over it all they like for tries now, as long as no part part of the ball or player touches the grass past the start of the line.

Nvm, double checked, and you are correct, if the ball itself without being on contact with a player touches the corner posts, it is out.

Wasn't called held but the tackle was obviously complete. You can't then just reach out and put the ball over the line.

post, in-goal line, or any object on or outside the
touch in-goal line, however, if a player whilst in
possession touches the corner post it will not be
deemed as touch-in goal.

Fair enough, I thought they changed that too when they changed the touching the corner post rule.

Seriously, watch it again. Ball touches the post and sits up before it's flicked back in. Should have been no try.
