I remember Gaba had a massive sook over Hayne winning the Dally M over Soward and came up with all sorts of silly theories.

Not only were the theories wrong (Hayne only scored points against bottom 8 sides!) but who would seriously get so hung up about the award they'd complain months later? Most have a knee-jerk reaction, remember it's voted by journos or ex-players who have to make an on the spot decision and move on. Gaba was whinging about that well into 2010.
