I can't say I remember that, although I do recall the staple gun that was used at one stage as a quick-fix instead of bandaging a players cut...

Didn't that go down fast!

Early 2000s. You had Mick de Vere for NSW and Tonie Carroll for Qld both stapled in the same match. I vividly recall Roy and HG getting very excited about staple vs staple whenever one tackled the other.

Have no memory of Carroll getting done at all. Was his on-field?

It was game 1 2003 and it was De Vere on the sideline getting stapled.

I don't ever recall Caroll getting stapled though.

I was pissed up but I don't recall Carroll getting staples either.

I had it on a big projector in my back yard
On a big sheet on the wall

The chicks were freaking out
Blokes loved it

Take the hair away if you aren't sure who that is. Then when you still can't work it out, don't worry about it, cos he is rubbbbbish

Remember when the players went through that fad of wearing bike pants (or performance pants - whatever they are called) under their shorts. Michael Withers was the guy I mostly associate with the memory.

Torpedoes I think they were called. Were all the rage back then.

What about Nasal strips that were supposed to open your airways? Good laugh specially on the blokes that didn't need em
