I remember that merry-go-round but not that rain fountain. I'm guessing that's 30 odd years ago?

Back in 1965 when it was opened, Roselands was officially the largest shopping mall in the southern hemisphere. That's probably why it was so popular back then because it was unlike anything Australia ever had before. It's probably the equivalent to when the new Westfield Centrepoint (re)opened up in 2010.Yeah not sure when they took it out, I went there sometimes in the early to mid 90s and it had gone by then . We used to visit friends out at Narwee back in the late 60s and early 70s and we always used to walk up to Roselands, don't know why but it was a magical place as a kid, I remember a water wheel out the front also.
Excellent, thanx for posting that. Here is the commercial
I remember that... but however exactly did they stop dogs from dropping one?Any child of the 80's would remember these all over suburban Australia laid-out by homeowners in an attempt to stop dogs backing one out on their front lawns..
The day me and my old man found a Henry the Third laid arching across the top of a bottle on our front lawn was the light-bulb moment this method was futile, and the bottles were banished forever.
