Same here, but I respect that some choose to do it that way.

Some people prefer to pay for tickets on a case by case basis as they can't attend all the games, and purchase the yearly jersey and other merchandise. By the end of it all they spend as much if not more than the high-horsed (which isn't all of them, but there are a lot on LU) season ticket holders...
I'm one of them.
Why do some of you think a season ticket is some kind of money spinning device? It isn't that much more profitable then the way others go about it.
Get over it and get your hand off your dicks. You aren't better than the next supporter that pours money and time into the club.
You like the seat you sit in? Fine. Just don't force it on anyone else.

Not forcing, but are you a member?
If your not then in reality all you are is a consumer of the club, members (and I include STH's) in that. Actually own the club, it is their club they have a financial stake and a legal financial commitment to the club. No I don't mean they put more in, but they have a commitment to the club if it fails. But someone who buys a jersey or buys individual tickets don't have that legal financial commitment.
STH's commit their money upfront. If someone can't go to games, no problems they we all have lives.
It was a very interesting night last night at the PESC meeting attended by CEO Paul Osbourne, Chairman Roy Spagnollo and Board member Joe Saad. Ossie noted that some of the season ticket holders, only attended about 55% of the games, and they are working to find out why (apart from on field performance). There is even an idea about "Buying back" tickets if STH's can't commit to certain games.
If you are unhappy with the way the club is run it is more important to stay a member and express you dissatisfaction as a member and use your voting rights.
i would imagine that could be a logistics nightmare trying to allocate seatsIt would make more sense to just offer discounted season tickets where you can nominate 6 or 8 games you wish to attend.
i think a season ticket gets you 12 games for the price of about 8 ....

Is it really that difficult for them to work out? When you have games spread out over 4 days it's impossible for most people to attend every games, even when they organize in advance. People just have other commitments and can't revolve their life around their football side. I don't see why the club would be complaining about this, surely it's better for people to have more members and STHs who invest up front, then just having less to begin with. I don't get how they'd be able to buy back tickets... what are they going to do, ring every STH the week before a big game to find out if they plan on going or not? Seems a bit unpractical.
How about if a STH knows that they wont be able to use a seat a week in advance they register that via the Eels Home page by logging on with their membership information and putting down what seat would not be used. That then goes on sale via Ticketek.
It is really that hard ?
Some members might not use the internet so they would be able to call a Phone Number to get that processed (it might well be done via the Ticketek Call Centre).
