Great...why did Cronulla even sign this dickhead? Something bad was bound to happen...lo and behold, it didn't even take a year

What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?

Only applies to the good blokes, or something?

Note - not defending Maitua at all, he's an a-grade moron. Just pointing out the irony compared to other unproven allegations.

Hes tested positive to a banned substance. What more do they need? Photos? Witnesses?

Anything less than a life ban from the NRL is a complete failure.

This is the one they can't blame on the media

no, but by having a strict drug policy the media will try and make League look bad compared to other codes who have a piss weak 3 strike poicy

This tool was whinging last year about how he was in debt or whatever and now this comes out.

Has enough money to do drugs lol.

He has had enough chances, should be gone from the NRL for good.

f**k him off straight away and move on. Simple.
He's a knob.

Just gotta keep plugging away and hope it all gets brighter. Speaking of brighter, is this rain gunna piss off or are the Sharks in for another wet home game?

He was proven guilty ffs...he tested positive to a drug, what more do you want?

Chances are he's as guilty as, but I'd assume its the A sample that has returned a positive, so he'd still have the B sample to be tested as confirmation. Then of course its not unknown for those who return positive tests to dispute something about them - eg the usual I don't know how it got in my system, I've never seen an ecstacy tablet in my life, blah, blah ....

After his sob stories about how hard he was doing it paying all his mortgages on his Sharks contract he's really going to be up sh*t creek now.....

Suck sh*t. Career change coming up. Reni Maitua - coming to a building site near you

Hold the phone...

Is this Reni Maitua the same bloke who a couple of months back was sobbing about being dirt-poor and barely being able to pay the bills? How the f**k can he afford recreational drugs? :?

Some vile tart of a groupie forced them down his gob/up his nose (depending on the drug of choice) while simultaneously forcing him to bang her senseless, all totally against his will

Poor Sharks can their season get any worse?

I've asked myself that exact question at least half a dozen times this year.

No doubt we'll be in the news next week for something even worse. Perhaps someone in the team is a serial killer or a closet Rebecca Wilson fan.
