What does everyone think about giving this bloke a lifeline with parra? should be fairly cheap and a good replacement for Mateo....
not sure if this has been talked about yet. But he wants to come back next year and play NRL, he would obviously want to stay in Sydney also.

Doubt Ozzie would look at him. Doesn't fit the culture he's looking to develop

could be handy if he stayed off the grog and everything else

incentive based deal?? Can't see it happening though

He has a drug ban doesn't he ? IIRC he can't even train with an NRL side until May 2011.

Is he a good player that would make an impression to our team on-field? Certainly.

Is he a no-good gangsta wannabe druggo cheat? Certainly.

Do we risk everything Ossie and DA have been trying to build by signing him? I certainly hope not. Give me young clean skins like Mannah, Horo and Benny any day over him.

He's only available midway through next year once his ban finishes. Not interested. He will be 29 and was past his best 3 years ago.

DO IT!!

Reni would be a huge signing and he wouldnt cost a whole lot either. Better attacker than anybody currently in our back row except Mateo.

can we put something in his contract about not going to northies??

ive always thought he was a good player, no more of a risk than someone like o'donell who is good for a suspension or 2 a season

I'd rather someone who just gots an on field suspension a season like O'Donnell, than a bloke who gets a high range DUI when on his Ps, gets sacked for turning up late to training and other repeated infringements, and then when he gets a second chance from another club within only a couple of months he fails a drug test and gets banned from professional sport for 2 years.
