To be honest I have a feeling about Saints this year also. I have backed them and St Kilda in my AFL footy double. Have one with the Roosters and St Kilda also. Just to be safe. ;-)

Southern, you're being too nice. Someone's having a bet each way, methinks!!

Dragon, it is waaaay too early to be making Premiership predictions at this stage. You only have to look at how Penrith were travelling around this time last year & Easts the year before to see that the title isn't won in April.

Cheers,
Ben S.

Its good to be optimistic but imo, fortune telling does have a tendancy to backfire. At this stage, I'm just hoping we knock off Easts this Sunday - and keep taking it one week at a time.

Dragon, I like your optimistic outlook for what will hopefully be a great Sunday in October, however I would recommend that you get rid of that piece of art now.

Let's not jinx the mighty Dragons.

Not many would have thought we'd be runners up in 1999 after leading 14 nil at the break and looking the goods. And there's only been 6 rounds so far.

I like many others are starting to get my hopes up, but those hopes aren't too high yet. Let's just put your fantastic artwork in the closet for a little while longer.

I always have two footy doubles each year. Roosters and the other 1 is a team I think will go really well. This year with the talent at there disposal and the fact that now the Sydney Kings have won a couple of championships The Dragons are the biggest underachievers in Australian sport (with the talent at there disposal) I think it could be there turn. I have said all along that I think Roosters v Dragons could be the GF. NOthing to change my mind as yet.

On Sunday if the Dragons team that played Penrith turns up and The Roosters team that played Canterbury turns up what a cracker it will be.

I must admit to being excited the prospect of this game on Sunday more so than any normal season game I can remember apart from Canterbury last season.
