The interesting thing about the USA v Samoa game is that anyone with American Samoa heritage can play for USA, so half of Samoa can switch to USA if they lose.

George Carmont will captain Samoa, could play for USA, has been in the NZ train on squad, and played his first senior game in Newcastle so could play SOO for NSW.

7. Eddie Paea

8. Kaufusi

this is all good but if they dont stay with these teams what is the point and if they dont play in the games to get the teams to the work cup why should they get pick at world cup time if they dont commit to the game for last year and this year as well .
also how many players have to be from that country or from there comp ? or what is the rule ?

Shame the world cup qualifyers were played when clubs could not afford to release players.

1.Aland Brown London Skolars.
2.Jace van Dijk Celtic Crusaders
3.Nathen Merischke London Skolars**
4.Alex Smits London Skolars**
5.Tim Jonkers St Helens
6.Dane Nyrincks Halifax***
7.Jerome Ale Canterbury (also qualifies for Tonga ( I think)

Only 7 pro's (that we could find) but these guys would have made a massive difference in the qualifying games against Russia and Georgia.

Aaron de Jager from the Country group 6 (Robertson Spuddies) was a massive asset to the team.

Life is Life....League is League ....world cup is world cup ........:roll::crazy::crazy::roll:

ps.
why did all the Dutch emigrate to Victoria????
(Aussie rules and all that )

** HAVE played for Holland but not in the world cup.
***Only PRO to play in a WC cup game.

An article about Warrington Wolves winger Kevin Penny in the Rugby League Express stated that his father was American. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Lower grades are like united nations these days.
I was watching Newcastle v Souths under 20s the other day and a big crowd of Somalian kids were watching the game and chucking around a footy.
God knows how many years before Somalia enter a team.

Holy sh*t at the Samoa and Tonga sides. I wonder how long England can stay in front of these two. They are just getting so good so fast, it's incredible.

I think Jason Tou and Gareth Widdop were living in their birth countries until relatively recently.
