Seriously, what is wrong with disclosing what a job salary is. My missus just applied for a job that advertised not only the base salary but all the perks like company car and free uniforms, travel allowance and penalty rates and term of contract. Why is this an issue.
Keeping players contract info secret just encourages breaches to the cap.

He started off ok but pretty quickly settled into ordinariness..he's a shadow of the player at the Raiders. My guess is after settling into reserve grade he'll be asking for a release...doubt very much he'll be seeing out even half of his contract up there

It's worse than this. He missed two tackles that were terrible. I wouldn't be surprised to see him dropped after that effort. He looks to be considerably worse than when he was with us.

Stef to me also hasn't looked great. He hasn't been woeful like Bateman though. It's just that May is a lot better.

I thought Papalli might be great for Penrith but I also haven't really noticed him.

We lost 3 big names and we seem to have improved our performances a lot.

I thought he went ok, looks fitter than he ever has, still settling into a very regimented side.

I'm sure everyone has seen snippets of the DCE announcement last night. This is the full episode, but only about the first 10 minutes are relevant.

The state of modern journalism, or what passes for it, just makes me shake my head. He categorically states that as it stands now, he will play again next year, but it won't be with Manly. He also said there was no animosity or ill-feeling causing this, just that he's doing Manly a favour by announcing it early so they find a replacement.

The closest to a hard question was:

Cameron Smith: "There's no hard feelings towards Manly is there mate, no?"
DCE: "No"

The question I was wanting someone to ask was:

"You said at this stage, you're going to play again next year, but it definitely won't be with Manly who you said you had no ill-will towards, or they to you. If that's the case what's wrong with playing for Manly next year? Why have you categorically ruled them out?"

I'm not trained, or even a semi-trained journalist but FFS........

He’s been factory and would struggle to get back into our side atm.

Ex rooster mate was also wondering why his tyres have run flat after he kept talking himself up pre-season.
