Man, I've got a sudden unexpected urge to play through the first 4 Tony Hawk Pro Skater games.

Was anyone else as obsessed with 100%-ing those games as I was back in the day!
I never actually owned any of them until I got a secondhand copy of #4 (which therefore became the one I played the most), but must've spent a million hours playing the first ones with mates & flatmates back when they were still relatively new releases.

Bought THUG (Underground) and just didn't get into it for some reason, so ditched the series from that point on. But those first 4 games, yeah they were my jam!

The Fuel Run. Nestle were giving away copies of that game in the 90s as a promo to buy Milo. Maybe the whole Tony Hawk skateboard theme of things reminded me lol.

An article on the top 100 Mega Drive games (man I wish we called it Genesis here lol) - it includes the game cover and YouTube gameplay - pretty interesting.

Man I love reading through this thread. I went from page 1 to 16 yesterday... brings back heaps of good memories :D

I'll admit I'm not big on first-person shooters, however I do remember that game - and it was one of the first I remember to have expansion packs. That was pretty cool back then.

Thanks mate. Yeah The Ninja was a good game, very hard though. It was based on Sega Ninja Princess (arcade game) and was ported to the SMS home console with, as you'd expect, reduced graphics.

Those Mega Drive games sound awesome, I haven't heard of them. Must give them a go.

Was Street Gangs a bootleg game, or releasesd in PAL under a different name? I can't find it in this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_Entertainment_System_games#S

It was an awesome game, but the Arcade version is the one I like most. I found most of the home ports to be disappointing.

Mate wwf wrestle mania was awesome probably the most fun I've had with a wrestling game. I bought a n64 specifically for that game and 007.

I never got into the raw is war or attitude. I found the moves too difficult but I did like the presentation and the in game movies on the playstation.

How about those wcw games. Remember wcw nitro and wcw thunder. God they sucked. I remember reading about thunder and thinking wow it sounds awesome. Then it came out and I tried so hard to like it

Also wcw vs the world sucked balls. I traded like 20 snes games for that as a kid. I regret that.

really ? that was my first wrestling game on 64 and i loved it so did all my friends
i think it was also the most hired game from the video shop at one stage,it was impossible to get without booking

and yeah attitude moves were harder to pull of but if u played fighting games they werent much different than them

WrestleMania 2000 and its successor No Mercy were awesomesauce. Wasted coutless hours on them, especially the create a wrestler and career modes.

Just bought Wolfenstein 3D on Steam (had some credit my sister bought me for a gift). My original gaming obsession. Want to see if I can finally get 100% secret passages found on that one f**king level that always stumped me.

Also bought the not-particularly-retro Half Life suite, which I've never played before. Cheap as chips at the moment.
