It's not as old as some games mentioned in this thread, but I just bought Metal Slug 3 for $5.99 on Steam.

What I love about Metal Slug is the Run 'n' Gun platform cartoon graphics with the addition of modern features such as sound and effects. In my opinion Metal Slug is perhaps the greatest legacy created by Neo Geo.

Thank you Zoomin - love this game review :D IMO the Sega Master System version of Double Dragon is the best ever.

Currently playing I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. Old point and click game from the 90s. Creepy game but pretty fun. Based on a book which helps the story. Wish there were more games based on books out there.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of point and click games - but I have played a few. The Art of Murder series (the 3 main games) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_of_Murder:_Hunt_for_the_Puppeteer

And also an online one called Jack French - which also had 3 games. I wanted to get the Criminal Minds game but never got around to it. The impressive feature of those games is the finer details, that said however the lack of interactive action is the general let down.

Hi mate, love that review. Gave it a thumbs up. The only thing that puzzles me... why have I not heard of that game until today? lol it's awesome. I'm not sure how popular it was here. I got it on my mega drive collection though so I'm definitely going to give it a go. Again dude, well done :D

Hey that's a cool video man. What I like about it is that you went for the games that didn't get as much attention but were still just as good. When I think of SNES, games like Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country (1) and Zelda come to mind, but you saw the other games and respect+ for that.

If I may, your games rooms looks freaking epic! What I'd do to have something like that :D

IGN had an article on Police Quest. My word, that series was O for Awesome. LA Noire is the closest thing to it. I'm guessing we'll never see a LA Noire 2 unfortunately.

Thanks man. The games room is coming along slowly, nearly have every console plugged into two tv's lol.

Thanks for the heads up on that megadrive cart, will be chasing that one up. Can't believe that game got past me. What is next for you?

I put up Rolling Thunder yesterday, and over the next week I'd like to add the next 2 in the series and also Psycho Fox. I've been meaning to do that game for a long time but a full playthrough requires you to play it a few times so you can get familiar with all the abrupt enemies that come from no where lol.

Fired up a N64 EMU last night and played some Mario Kart 64 with my 7 year old..

I reckon we had more fun on that than we do on most games out today!

Should probably fork out for the Wii version already. Or upgrade to WiiU :\

Also played some Tony Hawk 1 and f**k it brought back some memories.

Police Quest was the best Sierra series, followed by Space Quest. Leisure Suit Larry gets an honourable mention.
