What I love about Metal Slug is the Run 'n' Gun platform cartoon graphics with the addition of modern features such as sound and effects. In my opinion Metal Slug is perhaps the greatest legacy created by Neo Geo.It's not as old as some games mentioned in this thread, but I just bought Metal Slug 3 for $5.99 on Steam.
I can't say I'm a huge fan of point and click games - but I have played a few. The Art of Murder series (the 3 main games) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_of_Murder:_Hunt_for_the_PuppeteerCurrently playing I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. Old point and click game from the 90s. Creepy game but pretty fun. Based on a book which helps the story. Wish there were more games based on books out there.
Hey that's a cool video man. What I like about it is that you went for the games that didn't get as much attention but were still just as good. When I think of SNES, games like Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country (1) and Zelda come to mind, but you saw the other games and respect+ for that.
If I may, your games rooms looks freaking epic! What I'd do to have something like that
Thanks man. The games room is coming along slowly, nearly have every console plugged into two tv's lol.
Thanks for the heads up on that megadrive cart, will be chasing that one up. Can't believe that game got past me. What is next for you?
Police Quest was the best Sierra series, followed by Space Quest. Leisure Suit Larry gets an honourable mention.IGN had an article on Police Quest. My word, that series was O for Awesome. LA Noire is the closest thing to it. I'm guessing we'll never see a LA Noire 2 unfortunately.
