Since teams defend so well on their try line now why the hell is the attack still so conservative. Roll the dice from within your own half, take some chances, play some football...back your try line defence.

Every team “cheats” in golden point...ya have to.

If golden point forces that style of game...its time to ditch it.

Goddamn some of my fondest football memories are from winning golden point games... when it’s good, it’s GREAT.

But in my formative footballing years the Broncos were blessed with Lockyer, one of the few players who could consistently kick a field goal. This probably made me view the concept through rose coloured glasses.

Players making a mockery of offside rules, one out footy building for really piss poor field goal attempts (seriously, why are NRL players so garbage in general at field goals?) makes for an ugly sight. Maybe it’s time it goes.

Probably happy for the win, like most coaches would be. He’s been pretty consistently against it and has even mentioned it in games where we win (2016 v Cowboys comes to mind).
