I think the main point of these two photos is to show the Broncos markers are clearly not standing square, even less so than Rochow. Penalty Tigers.

Pity they didn't stop the Broncos from doing it during regular time last night.From what I remember, the not standing square thing was a deliberate defensive tactic first implemented by the Des Hasler coached Bulldogs. This started a problematic trend across the NRL from 2014 onward. Glad the refs are stamping this out.
Agree x 1000.if they are serious about cleaning up the play-the-ball they need to start penalising players for stepping off the mark, which for me is a bigger issue
most of the time the markers start off square but end up standing next to the player playing the ball
