In the history of great sporting comebacks, arguably his was the greatest. From being administered the last rites to finishing 4th at Monza only 6 weeks later with his race balaclava having to be peeled off the still fresh wounds.
A true giant of the sport.

I really have no idea how he done it to be perfectly honest. I spent 8 months in concords burns unit and well, what can I say. You summed him up perfectly.
