Yeah my bad I thought he was referring to 6 again. He didn't address that other than to say ultimately the right decision was made.
You said we scored a try and won the comp due to the ref error. That is absolving the raiders of the responsibility to defend.
It’s a figure of speech commonly used in sport.
In other words whatever the refs says goes.
Even if you think they’re wrong.
I’m suprised you’ve never heard it before.
thank you come again.
Jack did play to the whistle. What the f**k is carch talking about lmao
Look we all know the ref f**ked up by waving his arm .
We also know he made it pretty clear it was the the last tackle virtually immediately after the original f**k up.
the correct call was made in the end.

Except, he explicitly is not allowed to do that
Him waving his arm is "the whistle" in this case and jack played to it
yeah well apparently you knew that rule .
to me it looked like he asked the bunker a question about something as he was in the middle of making a call he was not sure about.
He waved his arm but never called 6 again.
A second later he made the correct call.
then he made the correct call another 3 times.
the correct call.
yes until he then called last 4 times with his arm up indicating it was last
Arm up x 4 = 4 whistles
Last tackle called out = 4 whistles
is it 6 again = 0 whistles
Wave arm = 1 whistle
so that’s 8 - 1 in favour of the correct call.
the players knew he’d called it.
The raiders dummy half doesn’t even question it.
They knew.
Wait, so he accidentally blew the whistle the first time?yes until he then called last 4 times with his arm up indicating it was last
Arm up x 4 = 4 whistles
Last tackle called out = 4 whistles
is it 6 again = 0 whistles
Wave arm = 1 whistle

Carcharias making a strong case to become permanent LU village idiot, if he isn’t already. Fmd, there’s a padded cell somewhere with your name on it.
40 pages debating whether or not the Raiders were robbed and the same arguments being stated ad nauseam, with neither side budging.
One thing that most people are overlooking is how big the call was in the CONTEXT of the game. It was the 72nd minute with the score locked up at 8-all iirc. People saying the Raiders wouldn’t have scored if they had the extra 6 tackles blah blah... who said they needed to? They would’ve been in a great position to score a field goal at least, which would leave the Roosters with 7 odd minutes to score at minimum a fg also.
BUT, the biggest point most people are missing is that the Roosters scored only seconds after the 6-again bs. Sure the Raiders should have defended the set better but they were probably still in a daze from what just happened, and the fact is, the Roosters shouldn’t have even had the ball! Who knows if the Raiders didn’t even score a point to take the lead with the extra tackles they were ruled to have earned, if the Roosters would have. Maybe it goes to extra time, or any number of pther possibilities. The fact is we will never know and Canberra weren’t given the opportunity to determine the outcome, because the refs did instead.
Good stuff, what's the gentleman's name?
Take away the context of the game, the score, the result etc. In isolation, it was the biggest blunder of the year. You can not give two ruling of a live play.I dont think we were robbed but it was a pretty epic blunder and people shouldnt talk it down. I only really argue with people who somehow try and justify cummins stupidity or say the sin bin wasnt justified. Just a lot of people have pulled those arguments out

Agree that it didn’t cost the Raiders the game, but it left a pretty sour taste in the mouth that such a blunder could happen at all, let alone in a crucial stage of a GF.
