lol....sorry bro

Rugby League is not just a mans game. i can guarantee you, a WRL competition will make money. people forget that girls can be signed up at grass roots, getting clubs more money and all that lovely stuff. and it just takes off from there. you install a WRL in 2013, watch, 2023, it will be bigger than you ever imagined.

I honestly think a Womens comp would have 0 hope of making any money.

Align it with OzTag if they're smart.

Could be done in juniors as well. Get the skill set without the physicality and risk of injury. That would please Mums and introduce a lot more people to the game.

Golden Point should be scrapped altogether.

Failing that, they should at least get rid of golden point half-time.

Don't think things like golden point should be/will be dealt with by the commission, I doubt they're in place to deal with such relatively small issues in the grand scheme of things.

correct. Some people fail to understand the role of boards/commisions. they are there for strategic direction setting not operational decision making. the CEO and Snr management plus Club CEO's will be the operational decision makers. The Commision will focus its time and energy on the big ticket items like deals, strategic planning, expansion, development of funding systems for states and territories etc. At least I hope so!

Too late, we appointed their stooge as CEO for the next 4 years!
And he can be sacked any time the Commission likes within those four years if they decide he isn't doing exactly as they want. Please mate, just get over this one.

Leigh.

First and last rights was a deal breaker for News Ltd. And they had to be extended to 2027.

Looks like they see a lot more value in these rights that some posters here. Only to be expected, it is their business and they are very good at it.

Don't downplay the value of this, unless you think you know more about the industry than News Ltd.

Who says they will remain top dog out here?
