Brown and Ratchford I can only assume got in to try and give continuity. I seem to remember everyone complaining Ratchford made the side against Samoa and on the night he played well. The side can’t be picked purely on form there has to be some continuity and loyalty.

That is my theory to, they did both play well in that game vs Samoa.

On form, Warrington hasn't lost a game since early July...

Well lets compare there best 17

1 Tuivasa-sheck
2 Watene-zelezniak
3 Hiku
4 Whare
5 Rapana
6 Martin
7 Johnson
8 Packer
9 Levi
10 Blair
11 Mannering
12 K.Bromwich
13 Taupau

14 K.Nikorima
15 Taylor
16 Fonua-blake
17 Asofa-solomona
---------------------------
1. Stefan Ratchford
2. Ryan Hall
3. Kallum Watkins
4. Mark Percival
5. Jermaine McGilvray
6. Gareth Widdop
7. George Williams
8. Scott Taylor
9. Josh Hodgson
10. James Graham
11. Elliott Whitehead
12. Mike McMeeken
13. Sam Burgess

14. James Roby
15. Sean O'Loughlin
16. Alex Walmsley
17. Ben Currie

Tuivasa-sheck and whare are out of form, rapana is overrated, Te marie martin literally does f**k all but may pull a try out of his arse, wont set any up though. Johnson should continue to disappoint, really decision maker. Forward pack should be pretty fired up, but i dont know how bromwich will go without his wrestling buddies. Solid bench.

Don't lose hope, we've got a stronger and more smarter unit.

You went to far with the troll when you said Rapana was overrated.

Not sure I would pick brown, but behind a good pack he is a capable back up.
Ratch is very good at fullback.
Currie if fit is one if the best second row in the world so no complaints.
Hill is Hill. Not his best year but has been let down by players around him.

My only concern is if percival is big enough at centre. I would have put Shenton their instead.

Other than that, bring it on!

Regarding Percival big enough for centre I have a feeling Bennett might try and go a bit bulkier by putting Bateman or Currie in one centre position against Australia with Watkins taking the other.

I'm hoping Ben Currie is picked at center

Had to post because I haven't seen it anywhere but is it a possibility Bennett may play Widdop at fullback?

It was my suspicion that was his plan for the Samoa test after he brought in Ratchford to replace him. I didn't see any other reason to bring in Ratchford unless he was planning to play Hardaker in the centres the whole time.

I hope so.
Ratchford and Lomax are fairly uninspiring and Gale and Williams are superior halves.

Does that Ratchford bloke have compromising photos of Bennett or something? He's a reasonable utility to have in a squad but I don't know how he ever starts at fullback.

Scotland announcement delayed due to medical assessments for eligible players. I think Kane Linnet was going to need surgery?

He is a brilliant second row and an good centre.
Of you wanted a back you would go with Atkins who has actually played well this year.

We've enough brilliant 2nd rowers

The last time Widdop played fullback would be a handful of games in 2012. It's not gonna happen.

And the last time Michael Morgan played centre was never, oh except for those two all-important Origin games.

I don't see why Ratchford played fullback then when Hardaker was in the squad.

Bennett didn't pick heighinton to sit around and entertain either. He will be used off the bench just as he was against Samoa. Bennett obviously picked him to play a certain role that he sees in the nrl. That's gonna p*ss off a lot of English fans.
