Dog? For backing himself and respecting the integrity of international sport?

I absolutely agree players should be able to play for 2nd tier nations if they wish but don't bag someone for not doing it ffs

He broke three vertebrae’s this season and wants to make sure he gets to full fitness. I’m not sure you can call him a dog for not going.

He isn't Jarryd Hayne he hasn't been talking about his dream to play for Italy. He has been very clear England is his desire and that will only happen if he ups his club game.

Just because a player is eligible for a country doesn’t mean he wants to play for them.

Scotland missing a ton of players. Coote, Wallace, Hood, Linnett, Wardle, Aitken, Walker all out.

Surely now all the people charmed by Scotland's 4N efforts can see they are long odds of winning a game this time (not that they did then either).

Only two Scottish born in the final 24 in Scott & Russell. Disappointing they didn't pick the two lads playing park footy over in Aus, Clarke & Plumridge.

Not happy they have tier 2 swappers in the Bentley brothers either.

Most likely their international swan song anyway unless a miracle happens domestically next year.
