How good is this though? Everyone is finally talking world cup, including Channel 9!
Five Italian domestic players in the Italy squad.
And a lot of ring-ins.
What happened to Jorge Taufua for Tonga? Looked a gun a few years ago.
Takairangi should start ahead of Beale and whare
They've got about 15 wingers in the squad.
He just re signed for Manly I believe.
Maybe. It's more to show positional depth than an actual final lineup
Italy have named a 33 man squad today which will be reduced to 24 once medicals are run.
6 domestic players in the 33 man squad
He's been playing injured for a month!
Just saw the Italian squad named by the president, i think, on Fox. Interesting to hear a few locals named.
Mansour in for Boyd.
Funny how a clearly injured Boyd was allowed to be picked and go through a fitness test but Bennett prevented others from being picked at all, even the ones who were playing two weeks ago.
Are any of Wayne's Broncos going to line up for this World Cup?
Gillett, Joe Ofahengaue and Tevita Pangai Jr for Tonga. Think everyone else is having "surgery"
If they look like coming up against England I suspect they'll fail a surprise medical.
Forgot McGuire, Mead and Kodi too.
Hope at least 4 of the domestics make the final 24.

5 more than last time!
Well it looks like the Kiwi selectors and coaching staff are finally over whatever JWH did to them a few years ago. Either that or they are desperate due to the injuries and people not wanting to play for them.
He played in the four nations last year.
I think you'll find that JWH being snubbed was a Kearney thing rather than anything else. Kearney is known for a "once you're on my bad side, you stay on my bad side" attitude at times.
In fact it was six. I missed one. I reckon they'll pick two in the final and actually that is the same as last time. They had two in the squad last time who didn't get a game. So they'll either need to pick three or more or at least play someone to better last time.
