The useless twats who have "run" this shambles can spend the money they're stealing form the game for their "services" and buy their overpriced tickets and then give them to anyone willing to go. Starting with Andrew Hill.

Doubt it, they will probably still be getting their bonuses.

I just had a look at the ticket sales map and there seems to be 6 empty bays behind the posts they are asking $91.00 for the worst seats in the house..

They need to give those tickets away today to save embarrassment. .

Andrew Hill is now saying they probably won’t pass the $6.6million profit the last World Cup made due to the costs of staging the women’s World Cup in conjunction with the men’s.
Unbelievable ! Marketing and promotion of what should be a great event today has been appalling if they can’t sell the game out! Absolutely embarrassing!

I think if and when there is a post mortem on this WC, perhaps the NRL could send a email to all those registered on their website (or ask the NRL clubs to send to members) and ask them their thoughts on the WC.

They could ask members their thoughts on the RLWC. Their thoughts on IRL in general. Do they want more. Do they want less :)cry:) Are they turned off by wanting to watch Italy and are just seeing NRL players in different jumpers. Is it pricing.

These and other questions could help with the 2019 Lions tour. For that we want 52,000 at Suncorp, 45,000 at SFS (SCG or Parra if no SFS or ANZ because of construction) 33,000 in Melbourne or should we take it to Perth?

in my opinion there should never been 2 games back to back in the same city.
how many people would have gone to both brisbane games?

if last weeks game was in anther city then tonight would of been a sell out

Stacks of English fans in Brisbane, even had some Tongan flagged cars driving around. Going to be awsome, empty seats or not. Can’t wait for kick off!

Organisers should get down to King George’s square where they are showing the game on the big screen and just hand those die hard fans free tickets. Those fans really deserve a reward for being loyal and it will fill the ground to capacity.

Only problem is 90% of them are england fans who already have tickets!

The central bays on the Upper Easter tier have gone from CAT B to CAT C.

Additional Cat C have been put on sale, as well as CAT A.

Is their going to be a lions tour in 2019 for rugby league? Awesome idea if true. I remember those 3 test lions tours in the past. Et making those try saving tackles was fantastic.

Lol. Sad but true. The code is groveling for an attendance figure that is clearly below capacity. Shame on the organisers!
Get over it and enjoy the game mate, we all know they f**ked up ticket prices , as Australians view it as a third rate level, so you can’t charge 120 bucks for a ticket in Aus. It’s as simple as that. But it’s done, enjoy a great night, I’m australian but I hope England win

I will enjoy both games mate. I respect and love the code! Some on this site dissagree about the prices in contrast to both of our opinions. It deserves to be addressed and seen as a big mistake otherwise this sort of organisational ambushing of rugby league will keep happening. Otherwise Im looking forward to an enjoyable afternoon and night of rugby league!
