Assuming Toots isn't injured/suspended in the opening 6 weeks, he'll be playing his 300th FG match in Brisbane. I'm not sure what Manly's draw is like but Menzies might also be away from home for his big milestone.

I know the draw is difficult to crank out but its a shame that both Manly and Canberra didn't get 2-3 home games in a block around this time as I think 300 is a massive achievement and should be celebrated in front of a home crowd. Not many guys get to 300!

What's the big deal about Big Nose Menzies getting a few trys for his club?? Maybe That's all Manly have to look forward too.

Do the tries Menzies scored with the Northern Eagles count? After all, they technically weren't Manly.

Idiot! - Notice the Eels have NOTHING to look forward to. FFS Menzies is an absolute trojan. Give him a break - he's the best attacking backrower of all time (records). If someone can honestly say they hate Menzies and wouldn't like someone like him at their club, without their 'Silvertail-Hater' glasses on, I'd be absolutely stunned. He is a Role-Model for many kid RL fans round Australia. He's played at the highest level, he's a one-club man (loyal), he's an excellent sportsman and he is F-Awesome.

Personally I like the bloke Sam, as you say he's been a great player for the sea-eagles, great role model and decent bloke to boot. However the best attacking backrower of all time might be stretching things a little - he has spent a fair bit of time in the centres in past years, and I vaguley remember the question came up when he passed the record for tries by forwards, as to whether the tries he scored when in 3 or 4 should count. One things certain, if there were more blokes like Menzies running around the NRL then sh*tty rags like the Smellograph would have f*ck all when it comes to scandals to write about from RL.

The Roosters will be waiting until 2007 to achieve this milestone...
