While I do think he is very creative, I obviously don’t think 100% of attack can be credited to a single player.

But I have always been susceptible to peer pressure and wanted to be part of the gang.

It isn't 100% him, I have said elsewhere I think we run 6th. The extra 10% the side has needed to beat the top sides is what is missing.

How the side overcomes that is key to finishing top 4 and pushing for another premiership. The side will evolve, whether that is to be a threat this year is the question

Our attacking shape has been stronger on the left for a lot longer than any individual players that have moved through the 17. Luai/Maloney/Moylan were all predominately left side and masters at executing 3-3 or 3-2s with a sniff of space. Edwards improved last year but the lead up work inside generally means the ball makes it out to our right edge with the defence up on in the face and quick push passes or hit and offloads are required.

I think that's the biggest single opportunity this side has to evolve as we need to. If our left edge becomes 30% less effective but our right edge becomes 20% more fluent, we become a more dangerous side. I'm not smart enough to know what the unlock is but I'm going to guess Luai playing both sides more has to be part of it and he's more than capable of that.

Capewell carved up on the left in the 2020 prelim too.

They botched about three certain tries in the first half of that game.

My issue with Kenny is decision making, he's not only slow to distribute but looks clueless as well. He butchered a set on he line last to week, one tackle he ran two metres and stopped, final tackle he botched a kick.

I hope he comes good but he looks the worst hooker I've seen since Russell Aitken.

We have a difficult start to the season, That will help to see where we sit. Being 2-2 is a minimum

Yeah people have short memory's. Ivan split up Kiks/Blake in 2019 to try and stop the left dominance.

Cleary has missed a stack of footy across the past 2 seasons, Edwards development means there is a huge upside.

We certInly will see a different style of play from the previous years

I think the further the season goes on the more influence and game time Luke will have.

Kenny will be a rotated bench foward by mid season.

Will be a different season to what we are used to. No shooting out of the blocks from game 1. More an ease into the year and peak at the end.

Looking forward to team list Tuesday, it is going to be very interesting, for both sides.
I’m not really expecting any surprises.

Tito will be on the wing for May.

Garner will be in the back row

Soni will be 14

The rest of the team will be the same as the GF team.

We should smoke them, but, they are a decent team and we seem to struggle against them.

I take nothing for granted.

Thought we’d touch up St Helen’s but we all saw how that turned out.

Garner will get first crack, you’re no doubt right there. I just don’t see it with him, this whole he runs good lines thing is a myth. I hope I’m wrong.

I look At the suggested or likely Broncos line up and they have question marks too, but they are potentially dangerous first up opponents.

May sound like a crazy idea
9. Kenny
14 Luke
17 Mason
Luke replaces Kenny after 20 mins Kenny does the usual replaces Leota, Mason replaces Luke with 20 to go. Eventually Luke starts, Kenny on bench, Mason shares 9 with Luke. Kenny will never learn the job required, he has shown over 4 years nothing happens when we attack the line. wasted opportunity of scoring the 1st 20 mins he is on.

Bring home Egan.

Team I'm hoping for

1. Edwards
2. Tito
3. Critta
4. Tago
5. Too
6. Luai
7. Cleary
8. Leota
9. Kenny
10. Fish
11. Soro
12. Martin
13. Yeo

14. Luke
15. Lenui
16. Eiso
17. Peachy

Peach covers half's, centres if injuries otherwise plays 2nd row. Martin to play big mins with Peach primarily subbing out soro on the left.

Luke on once Kenny has tackled himself to a standstill.

I know that won't be the team.... just what I'd like to see

Also if peach plays. Would be happy for him to spend minutes at prop.

Sounds silly but I like him in the cam Murray role.

Coming on to the ball at top speed back behind the ruck when the props are tired etc.

Not fighting for meters, more just landing on his stomach and getting really fast play the balls.

That is the role Kenny has done, Leg speed in the middle is key

I don't think we see any selection surprises, That won't come for a while. They will give the players time to play the new style before making changes.
