We flogged Brisbane twice last year in the last half dozen games. The Roosters got smashed at Lottoland in round 22.

Semi radradra doesnt play and I honestly reckon we lose both times against Brisbane. One game I recall a spilt ball that gave us 6 points after 5 seconds and Semi scoring 2 tear away tries in a fashion only he could do.
To me we where great in those games but leaked 30 odd by memory in one. We got shreded while also some magic ourself.

My issue is I dont see these as controlled ways to win. Just like the Dogs win last night. Most their tries this year are bum fluff flukes and their fans know it.

Do you think Foran is playing well? He is slow and busted and their fans also know it. Their forwards are keeping them in games.
I reckon if played again 7/10 we win.

I feel we should beat teams like the dogs, titans by playing poor. We should be able to arm wrestle every other team and make it a coin flip while the top 3 teams I feel we should be able to scrap and hope bit of luck goes our way to win.Keep it close and a tight game.

We are unable to do any of this. Same game plan. Same results.Smarter coaches pick us apart.

Roosters went from minor premiers to 15th....being a well run club, though, they didn't sack the coach.

I think the fact that Robinson had taken them to them to the minor premiership in convincing style, and the following year there were a host of injuries and suspensions, were all significant factors (as opposed to, 'they're a well run club).

On reflection I dont think it matters who we purchase or promote. Our game plan hasnt changed and I think there is sufficient data to determine it wont. The comments made earlier re Brown are spot on. He is all heart but using him as a lightweight battering ram will continue to result in injury. Maybe our style has contributed to our abysmal injury record? Not such a stretch I reckon.
Wipe the board clean BA and start again cause it aint workin dude. Prove to us what a smart coach you are. We need more than great man management. We need a motivator and a tactician. Get to work mate. We cant win on energy and courage alone.

Some healthy players would be nice as well.

BA should see out his tenure regardless of his KPI's. To punt him would be a major step backwards in so many ways. That's my opinion, feel free to disagree.

To definitively state that we should not sack him, is as reactive as saying we definitely should sack him. Would sacking him do more damage to the club than another season and a half of the current situation? Hard to say. Maybe to go yhrough another season and a half like this, would be a big step backwards.Should we have hung on to Kearney for another year? Glad I don't have to make the decision. I'm just a fan who gets to shoot my mouth off, and put forward my uninformed opinions on a league fan forum.

Well of course they were significant. A well run club like the Roosters understands that, a poorly run one sacks the coach. Kl

BA took us to top four with a squad most tipped to miss the 8, and thus far this season has been without Gutherson (our best player), French (a key part of our attack), Brown (our best forward), Takairangi, Mannah, Pritchard, Hayne, Williams, Moeroa, and Evans through injury for reasonable periods.

I'd suggest those injuries are quite significant in terms of making it difficult to turn our poor start around

What is the question?

Would you let Terepo go if it meant we added someone line Pangai Jnr, Ah Mau or Taupau in his place?

IE if it meant getting another high quality prop, would you let Terepo go given he's off contract?

Yes. But prior id ask Mannah to f**k off first given he be costing far more and not any better.

Completely agree. Going off the zero tackle site...
Dane Aukafolau, Kirisome Auva'a, Nathan Davis, David Gower, Jarryd Hayne, George Jennings, Cameron King, Suaia Matagi, Jack Morris, Marata Niukore, Kaysa Pritchard, Beau Scott, Ray Stone, Peni Terepo, Siosaia Vave, Tony Williams.

Of those middle forwards, I wouldn’t be worried seeing any of them leave. There’s some good forwards coming on to the market next season.

I'd keep George Jennings. Gower as a back up. Hayne - it's difficult to say

If he had to go to get a player like TPJ or Ah Mau or even Taupau of the Manly whispers are correct, would you keep Terepo?

If I built a squad it would be different. I like big edge forwards who run straight.
Id also attempt to set Wenty up with majority of guys under 25yld with upside.
Of course this isnt easy. And depth is important but how id do it. Need hungry players.

That wasn't the question.

Well that is why I (for one) have said we should let Terepo go. Because we have three or four bench level first grader props (Matagi, Gower, Vave and Terepo) off contract, along with Scott, and we could use that money better.

Gower is good, but he's getting on. Could use the money better.

I wouldn't be re-signing any of the off contract middles until we nabbed a new bloke or two. Maybe then I'd offer Gower minimum and see if he wanted to stick around.

As it stands we have a bunch of blokes who are first graders, on solid money, and who are acting as fringe first graders. Better to sign another good quality middle and then actually have fringe first graders on back up money
