Can't see Turner bulking up by 15kg.

He could bulk up by 4-5kg but I can't see more than that happening.

So AR has not trained at all this week but will play. He is probably only at about 55-60percent.

Also for the Titans Souths til I die Fogarty has been cut from their squad so McQueen will be playing five eighth it seems. I think they'll just use him just to simply make passes and bring players onto the ball.

i read a few days ago that fogarty was cut.....Shadow...

Season ended months ago. Maguire has proven to be a Losing Coach when his three seasons have expired and he should have been cut last season.

We could do with a prop or two i feel and it doesn't hurt to have an experienced head there for the youth to look up to and learn from. Nate Myles would've been nice for that but it's not to be.

I really hope Madge sticks with the current second row pairing, get games into their legs now and reap the rewards in the coming seasons

Myles is old slow and almost done. Maguire needs to get a lot more out of young Musgrove. His impact so far has been too minimal.

If Burns goes well tomorrow I know on here people will get really excited.

But I won't be buying into that against a reserve grade Titans side.

I'll be waiting to see how he goes against Penrith again plus the Cowboys etc....... then we truly see what I believe to be true.

Do not underestimate this titans side or the media hype this is a good team

Turner is listed as 103 kg. Other middle men in the nrl in that 100-110 weight range include Gallen and merrin (104kg) glasby (109kg) Prior and j.trbo(107kg) korbin sims (108kg) taupau (110kg) and josh mcguire (102kg) .

Even a just few kilos would be all that's needed if he made the full time switch to a middle role. You wouldn't want him massive, that would negate his strength, the fact that he is mobile. The is particularly needed in his defence. He is great at tackling, getting guys on to their back, getting slow play the balls, controlling line speed.
His big drawback will be his metre making, but i don't believe that will be as bigger factor as some believe. In his stints in the middle so far he has been in the 80-100m range. Not impressive but still decent enough. If Sam and Tom can get back ti being 140m plus runners then Kyles 80-100m added with his big defensive contributions can form a good middle trio

Because we are stuck with him he is like clark a club player/ backup type and he can improve

Glasby, prior, tapua and K.sims are all around the 190cm mark that Turner is.

Your rants on Turner are uncalled for , thank goodness you don't get to pick teams or recruit, Turner is a solid player turns up and does the job he is asked to do. Others do not agree with your one eyed post, why dont you come out of the shadows for a while and get some real perspective, If you think you are constructive in your posts I beg to differr , Turner will again be solid for tonights game.
