When Alvaro and Vave were off,we disintegrated up front, couple that wi King who proved the report that he is statistically the oust 9 in the comp, and you see the result,

It's acknowledged we have a small pack, so who's responsible for that not being addressed in the past 5 years. I don't want to actually say it, but we do look poorly coached. What's the saying big forwards win matches, backs by how much - we are being left behind by clubs that really don't have our resources

Our backs are constantly playing behind fwds that are driven back in tackles and have little room, and we allow opposition packs to overpower us with poor wrestle technique and get caught with their quick play the balls.

Just quietly, why doesn't French throw himself to the feet of the tacklers coming out of his half, doesn't he see Slater and others do it every game

IF the coach can’t motivate the players, it’s easier to punt a coach then do a projector styled cull.

The live camera of BA's dressing room debrief said it all ....it was beyond just losing dejection....he's lost them totally and he knows it. Dead man walking.
Hayne was good value tonight ....still has it for sure

Gutho to centres and Hayne to fullback. Is there a more obvious decision to be made??

It HAS to happen. The Gutho fullback experiment is well and truly over.

Is there any reason in the world why Gutherson and The Plane can't swap positions during the game?

Surely The Plane at 1 with Gutherson on the field in the Centres to give him a rest is surely the way forward for 2019.

We're as dumb as dog shit if The Plane is not part of the squad in 2019.

This is how I’d be shaping up for next year, with quite a few replacements to come:

1. Hayne
2. Gennings
3. Mennings
4. Gutho
5. Ferguson
6. Norman
7. Moses
8. Paulo
9. (Need to recruit)
10. Alvaro
11. Mau
12. (Need to recruit)
13. Brown

14. Kaysa or Mahoney
15. Mannah
16. (Need to recruit)
17. Gower

Coach. (Need to recruit)

I’d be telling French, Tep, Smith and Taka that they’re free to find opportunities elsewhere and going hard for Tapau, Korosau or Seggy and another strong edge forward. Marata would be a back up for either edge.

Hayne can’t do 10km a match at 80% effort. He showed tonight that he can reset like Benji and play slower but smarter. Centre is his position.

Mennings has gone backwards this year Hayne had had no pre season and is better..

Saying that my forward pack would be..

8. Paulo
9. Mahoney
10. Brown
11.Tep
12. Marata
13. NO ONE..

14.Mau
15.Mannah
16.Alvaro
17. Terepo

For you to say we looked poorly coached is saying something, knowing how much of a BA fan you are.

We have a ridiculous lack of quality leadership that is required to become a Premiership contender and I'm sorry, but Junior Paulo, Blake Ferguson and Shaun Lane won't change that
I can't remember leadership in the joint for years. When the big 4 came over in the super league days we threw a 19 year old Cayless the top job and he was and we are still sh!thouse.

Our halves are total gash - honestly.

It's cool to be crucifying Gutherson (and he was f**king dogshit tonight), or hanging shit on our pack, but the reality is this:

* we scored one super soft try from a simple front-rower's hit up

* we scored two brilliant tries directly as a result of some Hayne magic

Both our halves had plenty of chances in prime attacking position to create...something. Anything.

And they both failed.

But Norman looked more dangerous.

Seriously - did Moses even play? He is so over-rated.

I'm so sick of seeing Moses throw dumb no-look passes, or go back inside.

More often than not, he's invisible out there.

/rant

They're incompatible as a halves pairing that doesn't have the individual brilliance of Radradra to compensate for their incompatibility any longer.

One has to go. Pure and simple.

The club honestly has no heart or soul. Who would keep a coach after such a dismal season. A season that was over by round 6. Lmao

I'd make him captain and call his position "rover" in that he is in charge and gets the ball where he wants it when he wants it. He can just pop up anywhere.
I’d like to see French play outside Hayne if we persist with him at centre.
