There seems to be a distinct lack of plays going down our left hand side where we've got the last 2 seasons top try scorer and an Origin centre... Trying to figure out why that would be... Maybe more work required on the training paddock seeing Jenkovich came over so late in pre season?

Are you basing this on two games against great defensive teams? No point playing too wide against teams with strong edge defence. Also, have a look at what side Milford and Thurston defend on. That's who we were targeting.

Good point and I probably haven't appreciated the draw we've had to start the year. 1 from 2 being realistic is probably a pass mark.

I though Beau Scott was very impressive tonight. You can already tell he is a leader of the club.

Great tough win, the attack was pretty average but if we defend tough like that every week we will be tough to beat. Kenny Edwards and Junior Paulo were immense. Also good to have a proper fullback again, Flash is a no frills player but he does his job well.

Also awesome to see JT soaking all night, it's amazing what he can get away with against the refs.

No doubt I read too much in to it but just the way he said "we were confident it would get thru this match and be right for next week too" followed by we'll see how it pulls up after he said from the get go in the interview that it was pretty sore "to be honest" IIRC
