Exactly, with that style of play from Semi, we didn't miss Hayne at all.

I think T-Rex went off around 65mins, he'd run out of puff and had nothing left after we'd smashed them all night long.

The best bit was that at no stage did the Bulldogs look like really threatening - for years when we've managed to get in front it felt like a matter of time before the opponents would stage a comeback and win - but not last night.

It's been a very long time since I can remember a Parramatta side defending with that intensity and composure for 80mins against a quality side away from home.

Honestly, I'm struggling to think of a similar effort to last nights in recent years.

This team is different.

I like it. I like it a lot.

and Beau Scott is a beast.

If that is how Foran goes with a supremo hammie then wow what will he be like fully fit. His tough tackling in close, his short kicking game, awareness of when to pass and general leadership are just a treat to watch. He and Norman are going to be awesome.

At press conference, the first thing BA said there was areas we still need to work on, then straight away mentioned letting two soft tries in at the end from the last two games. He really is a perfectionist and takes no shit. He won't be happy until he gets that drink container tipped on him on that first Sunday in October.

Very god effort. Why waste him making tackles. If i was coach id say let guys like scott and gower do that and you save energy for running it!!

Tough win. No longer do you get the feeling with our defence that's it's just a matter of time when they're attacking our line.

The media gloss over the fact we played the Broncos with no halves, then say the Cowboys were well below par, but we were a long way off perfect against them too.

Couldn't be more impressed with that defensive effort (soft try aside). Bigger test against the Tigers, who can attack but have supremo defence. Should be entertaining.

For that matter why is "f#ck" automatically changed to "back"?

At least that's what I assume happens when people keep referring to Luke Kelly and Ryan Morgan as cheap back ups.

Ive been critical of Mannah but last night he was back to his best. Great game Timmy.
I wonder how the game would have played out if Mbye had run and passed the ball early in the first half instead of that ridiculous kick. A try was most definitely on. Our defence in that instant looked very poor. A lucky break for us and we very much looked a lot stronger from that point on.
Gutho was great. He was in everything. Great improvement from the young man.
I cant remember a performance where every player really put in like last night.
Such a same about Paulo leaving. Very hard to replace. Fingers crossed Ricky does his usual and Junior wants out sooner than later.

Gutherson was already pushing up on the support, good chance the receiver of the pass from mbye gets smashed in a ball and all tackle

The quote from Scott in the attached says it all about his attitude and what he will hopefully teach the younger players.
When you pick up an injury, you try to work in wi th the the interchange and what the plan is there, and that's what we did. I tried to stay out there as long as I could. It's what you do. You just get on with the job.
