Agree with darkness about the wrestle. You probably won the wrestle, but if a decent referee was on duty, you would have been on the end of a bag of penalties for head control.

Mate, if a decent ref was on duty, Buderus would have been penalised for grappling for every single tackle he made.

Have watched the close up footage today and Danny was very clean in the wrestle.

Hand on ball, he might have been pinned a few times, but his wrestle, if there is initial contact with head or neck, he adjusts the hand quickly to avoid the contact.

Knights lost Simpson early and Patterson early in the second, so you can put a line through that excuse.

The referee was poor, it went both ways.

Raiders didnt throw away the second half, Knights simply ironed out a few problems and controlled the ball better.

You are right though, you were not dominated.

I think you need to look past the endless excuses, place the blame firmly where it belongs and build on the positives from last night.

You will beat Penrith.

That's why I said we also had a 2 man bench.

I beg to differ about us throwing that game away. We made crucial handling errors throughout that second half and never managed to threaten the line other than the 2 times we scored.

If we hold onto the bloody ball we can compete with almost anyone in the comp IMO. Unfortunately that is a big if right now - especially away from home.
