Hardaker is a fullback, why would you assume he is going to take Kev's spot? Bloke will spend more time in reserves than first grade. Might get a wing spot pushing Nofo to the centres however that doesn't solve our problem.

This supposed deal doesn't make a great deal of sense.

If they can sell Farah to Leeds fair enough but we don't want a Pommy replacement unless it is Gareth Ellis at his best.

According to "the Mole" (so probably bullshit) Segeyaro is pretty much signed sealed & delivered to Leeds. He'll be heading over straight away to help them avoid relegation.

He is deceptively a strong defender and very solid in contact. He'd be fine at centre / replacement for Teddy if need be

Doesn't mean much as i hear its only for the rest of this season

Not that I really care about Super League too much but that's pretty f**ked that as soon as one of the richer clubs looks like relegating they can just purchase a top line player for the rest of the season to get them out of trouble.

Does anyone else think the idea of paying a "transfer fee" for this Pom is bullshit? esp $660K - where is the sense in that? Why not just sign a decent player who is off contract and save that fee? If they pay $600K to the club, then add the player's wages of probably $400K per year, so that's $1M for the first year - how does that save the club anything on Farah? And then we are counting on Ballin being fit. I know Taylor is desperate to get rid of Farah but I see this as digging a bigger hole.

I think the idea of the swap is that both clubs release their respective players with no transfer fee.
Both clubs gets the player they want.
No club in aus is going to pay the transfer

Hardaker for Farah (with much of Farah's 2017 contract being paid by Leeds) would be a very good deal for us. I'm getting so sick of the Taylor/Farah drama, one of them need to leave (I have no idea who is at fault but I know that one needs to leave). It makes sense Farah leaving, he will get to play out his career longer and on good coin.

Haven't seen Hardarker play but he originally was a centre and then moved to Fullback. If he can take right centre and move Naiqama to wing it would perfect for our backline:
1. Tedesco
2. Nofo
3. Hardaker
4. Simona
5. Naiqama
6. Moses
7. Brooks

I will b very surprised if Robbie doesn't serve out his contract with us as he holds all the cards.

And so he should.

Taylor should try utilising our best players rather than trying to f**k them off.

I just can't understand the level that he has gone to and supposedly with the support of the club.

If Robbie is definitely not leaving then JT needs to man the f**k up and restructure his gameplan to incorporate Farah's creativity.

2017 is ironically both his and Farah's final year on contract...they need to work together or it could both be their last year at WT

We definitely can't resign Robbie post 2017. He isn't worth what we are paying him or anywhere close to it. I think JT should go as well and hopefully we get a fresh start with some seasoned talented young players.

Its how the poms have always done things. Having no salary cap meant players were commodities
