Loved it, loved both Vader scenes, loved the whole second half. Was a bit jumpy between planets early but redeemed itself.

Also was glad they killed everyone off, and they did it quite beautifully. Thought that was done quite well, with them happily going down with the ship.

Watched it last night, holy jizz balls I thought it was awesome.

Bit jumpy at the start but once it got going it was amazing. Vader was in it enough without him dominating the film and that scene at the end just brutal.

Solid movie, I liked The Force Awakens a lot more though.

Can't wait to see what Rian Johnson does with Episode VIII, I'm expecting it to be unanimously considered the best Star Wars film, that's how highly I regard Johnson.

i liked it.
i just reckon they bury the lead with the vader stuff. he's in it for two minutes here and two minutes there.

could have had more screen time

everybody died and they blew up a planet.
good.

danny rayburn was really good

Well they didn't blow up any planets, just the base and the Holy city

I loved it, even more than TFA. The nods to the original trilogy, classic WWII films and modern military movies was perfect

For mine it met my expectations as being a bit more adult for a Star Wars movie. Even the deadpan humour of K2 seemed a little less childish than what we'd expect from the canon movies. I was blown away by it.

As a die hard Star Wars fan I went in expecting virtually the whole cast being wiped out and was not disappointed. They worked in the use of the Death Star without compromising it's use in ANH as well and the finish literally leading into the start of it was outstanding.

Watched this at the Edge in Katoomba on their large screen. f**k me what an experience. Would love to watch it again before it leaves the cinema.

It is a canon movie. I guess you mean the saga films?

Enjoyable movie. The jumpy nature of the first half didn't bother me but can understand how that stands out, especially once the war element took over.

The constant references were fun but at the same time a constant reminder that it was a prequel so also a little jarring.

Thought the characters were a little shallow and story was saved by some clever tie ins and some badass action in the second half.

All up i preferred TFA, but really enjoyed rogue one. I couldn't put rogue one ahead of any of the original trilogy just because without the star wars name and lore rogue one would be a pretty generic space film. As a standalone Star Wars film though i thought it was great and added a lot to the trilogy without hurting any of it. Quality film.

finally watched this yesterday and it was brilliant probably my favourite Star Wars film, although I wouldn't consider myself a die hard fan of the series or anything.

I was worried that Star Wars would take a nose dive when Disney purchased it with the plan of a conveyor belt of films but the it first two have been much better than the later Lucas efforts.
