As opposed to a list without research, drawn in crayon by some sexually ambiguous wanna be black nuffies, playing a game of dick sword-fights. Which one of you is Webster and which one is Arnold?
Everlovin' Antichrist said:I hate the f**king Ramones and I hate Neil Young.
I'd comment on the books, but I don't read books unless they're written by Douglas Adams or Tom Gleisner.
Everlovin' Antichrist said:They're sh*t RJ, I hate them and I hate what they think they brought to the table. Poncing f**king fartstains on the underpants of music.
They had less musical talent than the Bay City Rollers.
Here's a summary of a somewhat subjective list of the ten albums that should be in the collection of any new rock fan...
The Velvet Underground and Nico from 1967
David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mar, 1972
The 1976 debut from The Ramones
London Calling from The Clash, their 1979 double record
Licensed to Ill from the Beastie Boys, which came out in the fall of 1986...
U2's Joshua Tree, arguably the biggest-selling alternative record of all time
The first big alternative record of the 90s: Depeche Mode and Violator...
Nirvana and Nevermind - the big gimme - from 1991..
And Radiohead's OK Computer from 1997...
Everything else you can buy can somehow be traced back historically and stylistically to these ten records.
You're a walking cliche.Everlovin' Antichrist said:Depeche Mode? LOLOLOLOL
f**k that sh*t.
Status Quo - On the Level
Slade - Alive
Led Zeppelin - IV
Bachmann Turner Overdrive - Not Fragile
Queen - A Night at the Opera
If I found a Ramones, Radiohead or Depeche Mode album in my collection I'd punch myself in the face for having such bad taste.

It's an article about how to build a good record collection.

I don't have to read these opinions, i just listen to the music for me to come to my conclusions.
Rock rock n' roll high school bahahahahhaa inspirational.
If the Ramones were that influential how coem they never had a platinum record.
stick that up your arse lol
depeche mode bahahahahahhaha
carcharias said:it's all about record sales is it?
That makes "backstreet boys" world beaters then does it?
Everlovin' Antichrist said:Rock and Roll High School gets a run on Showtime "Greats" occasionally.
That is a god awful movie. lol
The most interesting thing about the movie is that the lead girl was in Stripes.

Godz Illa said:So we've got the music media majority v Ron Jeremy- a dyslexic who wears his underwear outside his leotard - and EA, who doesnt read books. Makes me treasure my 3 Ramones cds just a little bit more.

Joey Ramone has stated the Ramones were rather taken with the Bay City Rollers' hit song "Saturday Night," and set out to imitate its catchy, sing-a-long quality.
