It is hard to keep up because several teams in both grades have been wrong on the NSWRL website for weeks. They even have Kingsgrove losing to the bye!

We have had 10 rounds, Wenty have 2 deferred so that is 8 games and they have lost 2 to Hills and Wests so I am pretty sure that makes 12 points. I believe the weekly program has the correct points.

You are probably right, I think Hills never got their for and against in the big win over Belrose.

Maybe, an email to the NSWRL might wake someone up to get the table up to date rather than looking like a mad woman's breakfast.

Waste of time I reckon but as long as the weekly program has the right thing it will be OK. Yes NSWRL website has +108 for Hills but the program has the correct figure +144.

The missing game for Wenty is their 34-8 win over Mounties. NSWRL put the loss against Mounties but didn't give Wenty a win.

2 years ago the comp had the traditional top 5 and with about a month before the end Hills went up 4 points for one game and Auburn stayed on the same points even though they won by 50 against Blacktown. The problem was both the NSWRL and the program got it wrong.

So going into the 2nd last game Hills were playing Auburn and a win to Auburn would have entitled them to a spot but they would have missed out because of the stuff up. Hills won by 4 points so it didn't matter but if it had gone the other way the 5th team would have been left out.

All clubs should be checking the tables every week and getting them corrected but I guess they are not doing that.

The NSWRL changed their Media Officer for this season, who is responsible for updating the website, I assume that's why the site is so poorly run in terms of results. I contacted them on Twitter to tell them that Wenty's RMC side weren't actually undefeated, as they lost to Mounties, and was told it would be corrected. That was probably over a week ago, still listed as undefeated on the table.

They also don't post score results on Twitter anymore, where they used to have HT and FT scores posted from Shield and Massey games each weekend. Very poor write ups for game "Previews" which used to be posted each week. They now only cover one game and just list the others, and they seem to not bother to do it every few weeks. They've failed to post one for the last two or three weeks now.

Seems whoever they hired as their new Media Officer is doing a very, very poor job. Thank God for the weekly program to keep their shit together for them.

The program is printed for the NSWRL. The Tables are updated by the editor of the program

But how hard is it for the NSWRL to get a copy of the progam and put the correct table on the website

The weekly program is the bible when it comes to Massey and Shield. They would get little to no coverage if that book was not printed.

in recent weeks the preview has referred to Auburn as the "eagles" and Blacktown as the "warriors"

There are 3 catch up games in each grade this weekend. The ladders on the NSWRL website appeared to be correct this morning but following Blacktown's upset 40-32 win over Campbelltown the NSWRL gave Campbelltown the 2 points.

Maybe they fix it before the end of the weekend.

Sydney Shield

Blacktown Workers 40 (J Smith 3, D Cassone, T Sassine, J Fraser, A Seini tries; B Goldman 5, Seini goals) bt East Campbelltown 32 (B Baker 2, C Moustakas, C Standing, R Mati-Lerfi, B Jankowski tries; Baker 4 goals)

Peninsula Seagulls 36 (T Pont 2, J Marshall 2, J Pickering, R Goodwin, B McGrady tries; L Martin 4 goals) bt Hills District Bulls 16 (B Wright, J Boustani, A Overton tries; Boustani 2 goals)
Ron Massey Cup

Blacktown Workers 74 (S Tanginoa 4, T Mapesone 3, B Fruean 2, J Key, F Akeripa, A Tauillili-Pelesasa, F Tuinauvai, J Grant tries; Grant 5, J Wesley Taaga 2, Tanginoa 2 goals) bt Kingsgrove Colts 26 (B Lewis 2, J Steadman 2, C Tumupu tries; C Willis 3 goals)

Hills continued its recent poor run and despite being flogged by Windsor last week, Peninsula are starting to string a few wins together to now be in 4th place. Blacktown carried on from last week where they went the length of the field in the last set of 6 to edge out Asquith, by inflicting defeat on defending premiers, East Campbelltown, who have now lost 4 out 5 away games. Wenty have the opportunity to join Windsor at the top of the ladder by beating Cabra tomorrow in the first of their 2 catch up games.

Kingsgrove easily eclipsed their previous highest score for the season but it occurred in one of those rare games where the total hits 100.

I've noticed that since their young fullback has gone missing (injury???)(11 tries in 5 games) they are struggling to beat time with a stick. I think he was their defence organiser too.

sunday results

RMC

Concord-Burwood Wolves 38 (A Mataele 2, K Gillies, K Pettyborne, B Nichols, N Roberts, Vunipola tries; Gillies 3, M Mundine 2 goals) bt Mounties 16 (D Cahalane, S Chapman, M Beggs tries; S Aiga 2 goals)

Wentworthville Magpies 30 (H Raiwalui 2, T Kei, J Po'uhila, F Tagiilima, J Madden tries; B Henry, D Howard, Raiwalui goals) bt Cabramatta Two Blues 18 (A Ha'angana, G Goodwin, T El Masri tries; Goodwin 3 goals)

SS

Wentworthville Magpies 38 (K Leha 2, A Takupu, J Miller, D Sisifa, V Nasio, D Brown tries; Sisifa 5 goals) bt Cabramatta Two Blues 18 (J Safi, T Iuta, S Vai tries; J Gray 3 goals)

At Concord, the Wolves dropped the ball from the first play the ball and Mounties scored in the first set but then were completely dominated for the next hour to trail 30-6. A few consolation tries never constituted a comeback and the undefeated run ended with a thud as CB won its 3rd game.

In the SS, Wenty joined Windsor at the top of the table and have the advantage of a deferred game against Asquith.

Mounties loss will make an interesting game out of their clash with Asquith next Sunday. A second loss would see the top three back level, with Blacktown chasing hard in good form.

Did Asquith play a deferred game against Wenty mid week and pick up 2 points?

Wests just upset Wenty. Theyve been pretty competitive in most matches this year, just seem to struggle to get over the line at the death. Good to see them claim a big scalp.

The NSWRL has made a ruling that Peninsula Seagulls had to forfeit to Western Suburbs today because they had no doctor at the ground.

The RMC game between Burwood and Wests will not be played tomorrow. This makes about 5 called off at Goddard this year. The game vs Mounties was scheduled 3 times before it occurred.

Wests are going to play Randwick in a hybrid game in October.

Sione Tovo, Sam Gerry Burgess, Ray Tofitkau (Auburn) Chris Taripo, Eni Folau (Cabra) and Toa Asa (Wests) have all appeared for Randwick this year.
