Well now mr media tell us that the Prince of centres was never a target and it was his agent that came to the tigers.

Gee that must be a first, we knocked back an over the hill player. If the truth be known, Shines didnt think he could make the transition to the second row

Of course Shines might have passed up on the signing in hope he could lure a player who is ten years older and that little bit more experienced

Tommy SHines was more interested in Willie Talau or Dean Bell.
Tommy Shines is probably scouting the North Island now seeing if the Iro brothers fancy making a comeback
Vaeleki is sh*t, so i am very surprised we weren't after him as he ticks a lot of boxes

Wasnt their another Kiwi journey man (winger) played esl till he qualified for the pension, Just before he retired ran the 100m in about 1minute--his name escapes me, but could be shines man. Noyce might be able to make reduce a contract so he still gets his pension

There are two main critieria that Sheens scouts for

1. First and foremost experience at Penrith. Playing for the Chocolates Soliders makes the transition to another tripe side that much easier.

2. Ability to play back row or adapt to the backrow

Of course there are other criteria such as being 0over the hill, or being utterly useless however Im pretty confident that first 2 are the boxes where at least one must be ticked.

Is this going to turn into another 50 page thread on Pat Richards.

I'm still trying to get over the Tod Carney thread.

It might even deteriorate into a thread on how Fitzhenry is wearing jersey 33 at Hull KR next year.

I dont know what it is everyone wants to look back to 2005, next year is 2008 .Big Pat will be three years older and three years closer to hanging up his boots, lests start looking at people like Inu Haynes and the likes.

Inu, Hayne???

Current internationals and hot hot property.

Not ourMO I'm afraid.

I'd welcome patty back in a pinch.
Experience, size, power, the boot...he's got most attributes you want, especially the girls.

Iam not saying Big Pat isnt better than our current wingers, Iam just saying lets aim for the top and work down the list. Instead at the moment heading straight for the bottom of the list. If Pat wanted to come back at a fair price I would jump at him

The wests lot like the old name change tactic
Jackson Kaufusi > Lipina Kaufusi > Makasini Richter
Brandon Costin > Brandon Pearson
James Bulgarelli > James Brow

Ronald fools them by telling them `we'll pay you're first name half and your other name half .. but we'll only tell the ATO about one wage and you'll clean up on the tax'. When Ronald signed Prince he thought he signed someone with 6 names (Prince, symbol, nothing, artist formerly known etc) but Sheens hoodwinked him and signed scott prince. The relationship has been frosty ever since

as soon as people hit 26 they're apparently over the hill these days. richards would be 25/26 years old. still got 5 decent years in him.

Why?

He's completely hopeless at catching bombs.

He jumps higher than vince carter but always comes back down with armfulls of empty.
