Roosters 2014 Memberships

Our 2014 packages are out and I think there's a great mix in there - with a great range of packages for Roosters fans

My one criticism is that the $100 package for General Admission has been replaced by a $150 Bronze package with a reserved Bay (33). I love the $150 package with a reserved bay - it was a much needed option - but removing the GA option means we'll have fewer casual members.

For a team like the Roosters - the casual members are vitally important and we need to dangle that carrot for a few years more to turn more of them into longer term fans.

It mentions reduced prices for the Anzac game, so I'm assuming that's at ANZ next year.

Overall though I'm happy with the package and will be buying my bronze membership soon

Prob just means that it will be a dragons home match at s.f.s, instead of ours.

$99 membership was the best, not sure why they would turf it, they should still keep it with an option to upgrade to the reserved one if people wish too.

Memberships out already? Good to be proactive I guess. When does the cut off for renewing seats happen?

I'm pretty sure ANZAC Day would be at the SFS but it's a merge home game.

We all the knew the $99 membership was too good to last. Agree with Lambretta though. I still think $150 is still good value and renewed as soon as I got the email from the club.

Anzac will be a dragons home game....let's hope SFS, not ANZ.
Far better atmosphere at SFS.

The website states we are targeting 16,000.

After 14000+ this year, our target should be 20,000.

It is up to all members to get stuck into their mates if they call themselves fans, but are not signed up.

No way it's at ANZ. It was a massive failure there last time and Merge fan hate that place. With all the incompetence surrounding Doust if it gets moved to ANZ they'll go ape shit.

It's not our home game so I'm not really bothered but 40,009 at SFS is way better than 45-50,000 at ANZ

It will be SFS - it's locked in for a number of years.

Shame the $99 Bronze season ticket is gone, but to be fair it was ridiculously good value and to be fair again, $150 for a reserved seat is almost as good really.

Our memberships this year fell just short of 14k - official number was 13,952 as advised in a letter received from Ted Hiller (came with the GF booking number thing).

Anyway, 16k is a good target, doesn't mean we can't beat it. We targeted 8k in 2011 and got 10k. In 2013 we targeted 12k and got basically 14k.

Alot will depend on whether we take home the ultimate prize this year...

I read somewhere we were over 14000.

Regardless, it has been a good increase.

For a club with supposedly little number of supporters...only 3000 less than the so called powerhouse Parramatta and more than Tigers (2 clubs; Wests & Bamain).

Makes me laugh when the usual suspects say we have no fans.

Will get a season ticket as opposed to just a regular nuffy membership this season. But which one to get?

I don't want a reserved seat cause I usually pull a few non-fanatic friends and supporters of other clubs to our games and sit with them. I'll have to look at what's best for me.

I get the feeling that the Bronze Membership will be a reserved Bay, rather than reserved seats

I like the option to move around depending on the weather. Sunny - sit under cover in the shade, Raining - sit under cover out of the rain, Cold - sit under cover with a nice warm jacket on, Sky full of birds - Sit under cover to avoid the pigeon shit.... etc

Oh - hold on. Reserve my seat damnit!

The reserved bay is clearly an attempt to get people to sit on that side of the ground. You can still by the bronze membership and sit in general entry if you choose to do so, they can’t stop you.

As for the price increase, it is a little annoying but at 12 games a season it is still just over $12 a game which is great value or $13 a game if we move one and have 11 at the SFS.
