Wigan look absolutely shocking this year, they got donkeys like Pettybourne starting just got routed 24-8 at home by Huddersfield in season opener

Get all of your money and load it on the Roosters 13+ and hcaps of -20, -30 and -40

Thank me in advance for your new boosted bank balances, Wigan won't even be contenders in ESL this year.

Wigan team is much weaker than last year, this isn't like the Rhinos who kept their comp winning cores in tact for years that team is a shell of itself.

That said, Wigan will get thrashed. They looked rubbish, need a massive improvement. Who are they missing? Tomkins is a big loss.

Agree they were awful this morning just lost too many good players to make 2014 anything other than a transition year. O'loughlin and charnley didn't play this morning so having them back should help keep the wcc within 30.

While I am attending I don't think it should have been moved to Australia in the first place. When its played in the UK its a pretty high profile game with full houses and big sky audience

Wigan's team isn't very good. Missing Tomkins, Mossop, Hansen and Richards from last year, and even with those players they only finished 4th in the table.

Should be a good crowd at the SFS. I think alternating it is the best option.

That said, playing it 2 weeks after the Grand Final would make it way better.

They still haven't opened the top tier for sale yet and not sure if they will but CAT 1 tickets are sold out and only Bay 17 & Bay 9 are still on sale for CAT 2.

For 30,000 a lot will depend on how many SCG Trust members show up and whether there's enough demand to open up the second tier. Just hope Wigan's poor showing doens't put anyone off, worst thing for the game would be an absolute thrashing.

On a side note there's an expected 1500 Wigan fans making the trip over, demand was so high they sold out their bay and were allocated another one. Fair play to them, that's stronger away support that some NSW clubs get at our home games. Will make for an awesome atmosphere.

Whilst I don't think Wigan can win, nor do I hate the Roosters, I shall be cheering on Wigan for the good of the game..

The test is not how close will Wigan get to the Roosters but do the Salvos have enough stretchers, no matter how frivolous a game the Army is on the job . . . Mango should still be on his feet after the 80

This current Wigan team couldn't beat the Adelaide Pandas

I might wear my Pandas jersey to the game

Play the game every year in Fiji, people would be gullible enough to think it means something, the crowd would be about the same considering half will travel from England anyway and promote the game in a place League is ignoring

Yeah. Thats straight up the truth.

It is not going to happen. Firstly the NRL players don't want it played then. You only have to look at how many in the pre-Super League years used to try and get out of going to the UK for it. Our players just want to celebrate winning the GF.

Secondly, with the scheduling of Test football like it is, there is no room in the calendar for it. It might be imperfect but I can't see it moving from where it is without a serious re-organisation of Test football to fit it in, and that I don't see happening. Not when they are trying to improve Test football.
