Roosters will beat Wigan by at least 40

Jumping the gun there about NZ. They'll win their fair share of games but they are a long way from the team you describe them as. Just because they have Tomkins doesn't mean much.

Give Tomkins time. He is every bit as good as they say. A freak. The Roosters are going to be headhunted by every side in the comp now. The pressure is all on you now. Then at the end of 2014 the SBW express leaves for good and your club's peerless arrogance will disappear in a hurry.

Without their talisman Tomkins they are no chance. The NZ Warriors will carve them as well with Johnson and Tomkins running off of their forwards. The NZ Warriors are every chance of winning the comp this year. They are an awesome side. Skill and speed like no other side ever IMO. Attitude stands between them and the title. Wigan will get pumped by both sides.

I must have missed their change in coach. When the blow torch is applied, the Warriors usually crack. Their forward pack is definitely not a premiership winning one and Johnson needs a much better 5/8 alongside him than Thomas Leuluai. They should finish bottom half of the 8.

We will be hunted but our roster is superior in almost every position to the Warriors so the threat won't come from them at the business end. The usual suspects in the Sea Eagles, Storm maybe Bunnies if they can sort out the Sam Burgess issue and the Bulldogs as a smoky but probably not ready this year to win the comp.

I just saw the Wigan vs NZ Warriors game. The Roosters need not worry. They can rest SBW and still win comfortably. Not by 40, but probably by 30.

Roosters may be allowed to begin the game cautiously on the scoreboard but the second half can be nothing less than a slaughter if they want to avoid the gauntlet of one eyed loud laughing f**king knobs that only feed on bad news

Have Wigan left half their players at home for this match? Looking at the squad they have named, I don't recognise a bunch of the names!

Channel 9

Coverage starts at 7:30pm Sydney time, game kicks off @ 8pm

Arh crap! I was hoping for at least another couple of weeks without having to listen to Gus and Rabs suck each other off.

Chook.

Are you suggesting that Anthony Gelling and Eddy Pettybourne are not up to this level or rugby league representation?

Surely you heard of the former Roosters U20s player who made headlines after he got sacked for shitting in his hotel room?

I'm suggesting that I've never heard of these guys:

25. John Bateman
32. Joe Burgess
24. Tony Clubb
17. Dom Crosby
16. Gil Dudson
10. Ben Flower
5. Anthony Gelling
14. Jack Hughes
23. Dan Sarginson
7. Matty Smith

And then there's these blokes who were rubbish in the NRL, but apparently play for England's best team:

6. Blake Green
22. Eddy Pettybourne

That's 12 out of 19 players who I assume would struggle to play consistently for many NRL teams. Even the Dragons, and we are rubbish.

You need to watch more ESL on Eurosport.

Smith, Dudson and Flower were three of Wigan's best players last year.

Green's a much better player now too. May surprise you a bit.

Pretty sure tony clubb played for England last time the 4 nations were out here and is a London product formerly with the broncos.
